One info I didn't heard mention Is there any difference in ink capacity? 🤔
@garrygraves64413 жыл бұрын
The only discernable difference in capacity is the approximate doubling of the black reservoir for the printers using the 502 ink bottle refill (all but the ET-2720). The ET-2720 uses the 522 bottle refill. As expected, the replacement black ink bottle in the 502 refill is double that of the 522. (hope that makes sense).
@IronWarhorsesFun2 жыл бұрын
the ink is a lie, you will waste tons of ink trying to get this to work and if you waste too much you fill up the NON REPLACEABLE INK PAD.

Excellent review and comparison!! One question: ET 2760 Does it really have the duplexing feature ?? I have searched and searched and I can not find proof from Epson that the ET 2760 has auto duplexing. Please clarify, thanks
@Ret_Army_Combat_Vet2 жыл бұрын
When you print for the first time in your computer go to advance setting and scroll down you should see it. Once you set it, it will always print double sided until reset.

Sams club carries a 3850 for $400 and target has a 4800 for $300. I just notice on the 4800 it has smaller 522 bottles. Idk what else different

It's a shame how their EcoTank printers have such tiny screens compared to their inkjet printers, the larger ones are far more useable.
@Odolwa2Ай бұрын
T-Shirt folks listen up. WF-7820 is the go-to printer, however, due to blocking 3rd party, you can't use a CISS unless you buy disposable 1-time use chips (which cost as much as ink carts). Epson has instead made the ET-16650, which uses the exact same print head as the WF-7840, but it comes at a premium of $1100. That's a shitmove on Epson's part right there alone. Very anti-consumer. The better option is to buy the European version of the WF-7840, which is the WF-7840DTWF, although shipping is $250 (bringing the total cost to $580). Still a farcry from $1100. With the euro 7840, you can use a CISS, as the EU has prohibited Epson and other companies from "obsoleting" products (you can use an auto reset chip on these). Buy a WF-7840DTWF, use a CISS, and save $500 for having not bought a WF-16650. Put that extra cash towards more ink and printable media. PS - ET-15000 is a crap printer, it has a low resolution print head (300 ppi, or 1200 dpi). Not good for those 13x19s (much less 11x17s). T-shirts might be ok, but not stickers and large art prints. BTW, price of ET-15000 is the same as a WF-7840DTWF with international shipping.

i HATE my Epson EcoTank 2720 after only after 4 months i will never buy a EPSON or Canon printer again. At least HP is honest about ripping you off with their ink subscripton service. Everything about it is a study in wasted effort and corner cutting. The display screen is FAR TO SMALL and far inferior to a touchscreen. It wastes tons of ink on constant maintenance, i cannot replace the ink and that is a regular complaint in reviews and the REAL CLINCHER is the Ink Pad. The ink pad is a NON REPLACABLE component that functions as a self destruct mechanism that gets filled up with all the Ink you wasted trying to get this peice of junk to print properly in the first place. If these things were suppsoed to be ECO freindly why do they have this Feature??? becasue its just another Printer Manufacturer scam. same story with Canon Tank Printers going by all the reviews i have seen. Both have a LITERAL self-destruct system built in, waste tons of ink if not used regularly and are Maintenance nightmares, Especially for Newbies.

@SwtLvlyLucy1692 жыл бұрын
They all have ink pads that get full and are non replaceable. You must send the printer to epson for $200. Negating the all too good to be true savings on ink. Piece of junk! There are vids of ppl buying codes online from random websites to bypass this- im not willing to do so. Look elsewhere ppl.
@21guitarworld2 жыл бұрын
Can you recommend a printer? I know their are some printers that have replaceable ink pads
@nrich51272 жыл бұрын
Within the first 17 seconds there was a statement made that is completely FALSE ... "instead of traditional ink cartridges, which are expensive and often difficult to replace". Well they are most certainly expensive but they are absolutely NOT "often difficult to replace". In fact they are seldom " difficult to replace" . As a matter of fact they are almost never "difficult to replace". And actually there is one advantage to a new ink cartridge, many are a new printhead/ink combination. So if you were having issues with print quality, the new head will very often solve any problems because the printhead is the electronic part that sends the ink onto a page. So they mix a fact which everyone knows is true and throw in a lie that they want you to believe by associating it with the fact. This is an attempt to manipulate your opinion. And the dumbest thing of all , is it is totally unnecessary because the cost of the ordinary ink cartridges is the main issue that creates the need to seek relief by way of the Epson SUPERTANK PRINTERS. The bottom line : you don't have to lie to make a legitimate point.
@Art_by_Nicole Жыл бұрын
Couldn’t agree more. Cartridges are not (!) difficult to replace. The costs are, like you said, very high though. Every 6 months I have to replace five cartridges for about €60,- if I use the original ink from Canon it would cost even more. Even though, the quality of coloured images is very good on my Canon printer (with cartridges). Can you tell me anything about the quality of colored printing of the Eco-Tank?
@larrysmith6797 Жыл бұрын
No mention of replaceable maintenance tanks. Some of these printers will brick when their built in permanent waste ink tanks fill. An amateur review.
