Good Video for me as I am about to buy one, but what size label did you use? I am very confused on what tape width to use for Cat 6 cable similar to what you did. Then I saw self laminating option and that search led me to this video here. Would 3/8" shrink tube work on that cable without a connector on it? Also, would not 1/2" Shrink Tube work going over the boot connector and then shrink around the wire or will it not shrink that far? Please let me know what Tape sizes I should get for Cat 5, 6, or Profinet Cables.

Hi Mark, Thanks for commenting! I’m going to try to keep this short. Yes the 3/8” is a great option for Cat6 cables without connectors. I also really like Self-Laminating tapes for cable labeling. Its so versatile! When we are talking about wires with boot connectors, I hesitate to give you a supply suggestion, one boot could be different than the next. If you want to email us we’d be happy to send you some more specs on the specific supplies. We could also send you out a sample pack of all the different sizes for you to check out. Let us know how we can help!

Dame la referencia del cartucho que usaste para el cable utp?

Thank you for your suggestion. I believe the cartridge Melissa is using in this video is 1" vinyl self-laminating cable wrap (224VSLPX), available here: labelworks.epson.com/for-work/supplies.html?printer=282&tape_type=210

We use sequences of 6 digits for serialize our product. 1) Can I make them longer than 3 digits? 2) I need that number shows all zeros, (000001,000002,etc) Is this possible. At the moment the software just remove the zeros in front.
@EpsonLabelWorks Жыл бұрын
Hi! Great question regarding sequencing. Yes, using the Label Editor Software v2.10, you can create the sequence you mentioned. So in your example of (000001,000002) within the sequence function you would set the number of digits to 6. Then turn the Zero Padding to Yes. This will prevent it from dropping the zeros. That should do it for you. Easy Peasy!! Reach out if you have additional questions on the sequencing. We are here to help! labelworks.epson.com/contact-us

Hi, I am trying to create labels with symbols and text on it , however, on the software I am only able to create one label and than save it and create another label, is there a way to create multiple labels with different symbols and text at the same time?
@EpsonLabelWorks2 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the delay in replying, you caught us on a weekend. Yes, you can do exactly what you are trying to do. Here's how: 1. Open the software 2. Click on the Mix length option 3. Create your fist label 4. If you want to create more than one label click the "+" symbol next to your first label. 5. This will create a second label. You can keep adding labels as you go. 6. Once you are done you can hit print and it will print all the labels that you have created. You can also select whether you to use half-cut or full-cut after each label.

@@EpsonLabelWorks I figured that part out however I cannot add symbols when I do mixed length labels. for instance I want to place an Arrow in front of a text and on a second label I would like to add a different symbol but the symbol option is grayed out and I am unable to use it.

@@yasemins3036 Hi Yasemin, Thank you for reaching out. Sorry for the confusion. Try using the Print-Paste feature. You can find it on the right hand tool bar in the main screen of the Label Editor Software. This feature will give you full design control. Call me if you have any questions. -Melissa 800-458-3430x226
