I seen the Rappe receipts on tv the other day and I like it for business and file my income taxes .and others important bills to file also.what is the price for one

It works well with receipts / invoices that are printed clearly, and in a traditional format (such as the ones from Costco or from the gas stations). But, a lot of receipts are printed in such a way that you can barely read it even with your own eyes, some of it are wringled, torn apart and faded out in a few days, with coffee stains on it. But to be fair, this is not Epson's fault for wringled receipts. For invoices, it works with a simple traditional invoice (such as the one generated by Quckbooks). It does not work with hand written invoices or fancy invoices, such as property tax bills, utility bills, airline tickets, etc.) As for exporting receipt data to another software, Excel works quick well. Once the data are in Excel, you can sort it, classify it, and add up the total for your income tax return. As for exporting to Quickbooks, it only transfers the grand total of each receipt or invoice for auto data entry. If you want to classify the items in each recept/invoice further, (eg, in Canada, HST/GST), you have to do it within Quickbooks.

@@venitagill6014 Yes. There are several models, prices range from $300, to about $500 (Canadian) plus sales tax. I ordered the RR70W model directly from Epson Canada. One good thing is that it can scan long receipts, up to 72 inches, and it is very fast. You can buy the cheaper model (ie, without financial software ---- for just storing receipt images) and add the accounting feature later on a trial basis.
