The priming is not done right. There are two arrows on the cartridge. The one in the centre points to a rubber lock. It is made to snap of and on. Snap it of, draw air until the ink is there. Lock it again. Put the in your syringe back into the cartrige on the back.That is it.

There seems to be problems with the US version of the printer blocking aftermarket chips, but not so for EU printers. Can you confirm this ? Also: what about printers with newer firmware, that might block aftermarket chips.

My Epson SC P800 got stuck on the error screen after I changed an ink cartridge. i cannot get back to HOME or the screen to open the ink cover. Is there anyway to open the ink cartridge cover manually?

I’m trying to print on some card (brown recycled paper) and it comes out quite faded. Is there a way to get around this?

how do you make it show non genuine cartridge,, becouse on my printer it only that can´t recognize the cartridges.

I was about to buy this printer, until I heard that the new ink cartridges chips can not be reseted. Any ideas any one?

Can in Europe I guess because in Europe companies can screw customers big time like they can get away with in the USA, which is why it won't work there.What Epson has done is encrypted a code so it recognises the used chips and rejects the cartridges (a very simplistic version of what is happening btw). In order to crack it it would take years and years of computerpower to do so. With current tech.

Does this printer do well with bright colors? It is said that dye inks are brighter than pigment inks.
