Love the videos and this was definitely helpful for me with the HX stomp. One thought that may help viewers hear more what is happening is to turn off the wet effects so we can hear just what the EQ changes are doing. The wet effects, such as reverb, add some high end frequencies that color the overall sound that make it harder to hear the changes the EQ is making. Just a thought.

Good suggestion! I’ve noticed it before but the KZbin compression and processing really seems to mess with the verb and feel in the room it didn’t feel as wet as when we listened back.

I've got an HX Stomp, and I've reduced my Strat to a single Humbucker in the Bridge location. This makes it easier for me to take advantage of my Modeler, without having to compensate my Preset Settings when switching between Pickups. The Presets dialed in on a Bridge Pickup never sounded quite as good when switching to a Middle or Neck Pickup.

Can you guys do one of these for the ToneX? I’d love to see how you dial in and set up your amp sounds.

Yeah we are going them for all the platforms!

Is there a bump in the low mids of the helix stuff? I feel like I’ve always noticed that in the stomps I’ve heard over the years.

Am glad you did this video but I'm such a dummy I'm still baffled by EQ. This helped. But I'm still a dummy.

Look at a Mesa that has eq or an eq pedal with the sliders, just toy around with it, you can dial in just about any sound you want. In the Fractal there is a line, and you will see the same thing happen when the line goes up or down. It is simple.
