Homework Answers :- 1) velocity of the car will be zero , acceleration=4m/s² and time taken is 10sec By using second equation (s)=0+1/2×4×(10)²= 400/2 =200 Hence , the distance covered by the racing car after 10s from start is 200m. 2)1) by using v² = u²+2as Final velocity of the ball just before it strikes the ground will be (v)=20ms-¹ (Option B) 3) velocity is zero and acceleration =10ms-² in the opposite direction of the stone = -10ms-² By third equation (s) =(0² - 5²)/2(10) = Distance (s)= 1.25 m Time = by using v= u +at ( 0=5 -10×t ), t=0.5s Hence ,stone reaches a maximum height of 1.25m in a timeframe of 0.5seconds

nono m/s multiplied by 1/s is acceleration, but m/s x s/1 is displacement as second at the bottom and at the top cancel out..

Under what condition, the average speed is equal to the magnitude of the average velocity. Justify this. 2.Can a body have constant speed and still can be accelerated? Explain through an example.

Q5 the max height is 1.25m we can calculate it by 3rd equation of motion,the time taken is 0.5 we can calculate it by 1st equation of motion Q4 The distance travelled by the car is 200m we can calculate it by 2nd equation of motion. Mcq:20m/s we can calculate it by 3rd equation of motion.
