This is so beautiful. Except the jumping on the horses back, that just made we wince.

don’t worry about the horse! vaulters learn how to absorb the impact into their knees, so it doesn’t hurt the horse. Also the pad they use super-shock absorbing!

Really beautiful. Just a note, though, it looks so much more impressive at full speed where people can actually sense the difficulty and danger.

A lot people say doing this kind of thing is easy but when they get up and try it they find it requires core strength, excellent physical condition and body strength. I don't do it myself, but I love to see how other people make the once impossible possible

would you ever go bitless?? it is a part of natural horsemanship
@JC_horsetraining9 жыл бұрын
The two weirdest girls ever for vaulting it is mandatory to have side reins on and to have side reins you must have a bit ( unless they are attached to a cavesson which isnt really that great). I ride oreo bit less simply because he responds much better that way. I don't ride Bailador bit less because i do classical dressage (legerete) and we use the bit for communications. Bits are not a bad thing, they are a tool and like any other can very easily be misused

Where I do this we don't have the horses on a lunge line in the arena and they don't have all of those straps all over them, only a blanket, handles and a headcollar. Makes it a bit more dangerous ;)

It was really nice buy you shouldn’t go bounce when your standing on the horse because if the horse loses balance you might fall off. You are a very good vaulter and it would suck if you fell.

Holo Horse I was thinking that! I was really annoyed when she did it. I hope she didn't hurt the horse. Apart from that it was okay. I just don't like it when she jumped on the horses back ;-;
@gracetwiss30517 жыл бұрын
Fabulous Demon baby no im a vaulter and you have to learn how to land softly on your horses back so it wont hurt your horse pluse if you hurt your horses back when performing at a competition you get points taken off
@jasmine-eb6xw7 жыл бұрын
If it hurt the horse the horse would've shown a sign that the horse was indeed in pain.
@gacha_derpedits56936 жыл бұрын
It doesn't hurt the horse because when she lands, she bends her legs so that she absorbs the impact.
@raec70225 жыл бұрын

@mmaciosek16 жыл бұрын
Ivy Popejoy it doesnt hurt them at all they can barely even feel the bit
@ivyp9476 жыл бұрын
Michelle Maciosek no they do feel it that’s why people use it
@annabellem79536 жыл бұрын
A soft bit is better than a Hackmore, with them you can brake the Horse´s Nose, thats even more painful. And you have to lern how to be soft with the hand. The horse I ride has a just soft contact on the bit, if he has contact, so yes he feels it but it dosen´t hurt him, he wouldn´t take it if it would hurt and an other horse I used to ride you just had to put the bit on his nose and he would use the lips to get it in his mouth, he wouldn´t have done that if the bit had hurt him.

@willburnickle40156 жыл бұрын
Sasha Banks Everything is done in a certain way down to material, mind, and actions to make both the horse and human as safe as possible. Do not degrade the vaulting community especially if you don’t do the sport yourself and if you do however do this sport then you should understand.
