Wow Rocky!!! 🔥❤ The change is impressive. ❤ Holly…I’m saying this because I care and because this has happened to me. Please, wear a back protection when you crosscountry. No matter how good a rider you are or how small the fences. One misstep from Rocky and you might get very hurt. Back in the day, my pony with whom I did a lot of crosscountry lost his footing and we both fell…my back protection saved my spinal cord !

Gosh you've worked your magic again, he is SO different from his first time out on XC! I remember he used to rush & flip his head & go all wiggly and stressy. Today he had rhythm & a relaxed attitude in general. So lovely to see his progress ❤

Hi Holly, Rocky is doing so well. He is a credit to you. I also love going to Mangurang Sth Pkny club grounds. I used to volunteer with RDA there and took my pony many times, they have such a great variety of jump styles and sized of cross country jumps. Just be careful of snakes.

I used to have a standardbred off the track. He was a dear but his gaits were definitely not comfortable, especially the trot!

Rocky really seems to enjoy jumping. Cross country is such a great idea. A break from ring work (I know you hack out a lot too) is so important for these guys. He is so quiet! A testimony to you and how quiet you are. You make it look easy. I don’t think there is anything that boy can’t jump! Excited to see how dressage is coming along. The warmup gives me an idea that he’s stronger and listening. So wonderful you have each other.

Like i did'nt knew the meaning of OTTB, i found on google it's a thouroughbred who was bred /trained to be a racehorse, but does'nt do this anymore. Was rocky racing in the time?🤔
