I’ve really fallen out of love with the sport but it’s so lovely to hear you talk about your little herd!! Hate to hear you’ve been dealing with shitty people on social media, it’s absolutely no one’s right to know anything

What a great video and so well explained. It is hard when you are invested in someone´s journey as you are curious about what´s going on, but I would never be bolshy and ´demand´ explanations from anyone, as respect for peoples´ limits and privacy should be first and foremost as far as I am concerned. I found all this process fascinating, and am so looking forward to seeing the second red brigade of chestnuts progress, after enjoying the first red brigade of bay boys. Wellbeck was such an exciting mare to watch when jumping, so I hope that her offspring take after her. Sooo excited about future videos!

those tail swishes to me are absolutely a personality quirk, and such a cute one too (seems like showing the high energy/excitment i see it in other horses too)

I think anyone that makes equestrian videos is super brave. The majority of people are lovely, amazing and non-judgemental, but the minority online who are not nice can actually be dangerous as they will band together and campaign to bring about the downfall of the vlogger. I have seen it happen multiple times over the years, once about a charitable organisation that was set up to help people who, through changes in circumstances, were unable to care for their animals. One poor man whose daughter had died, which left him with psychological issues and unable to care for his animals properly anymore, was actively harassed and threatened both online and off and there was no mistreatment of the horses whatsoever - and they were being helped. The hate campaign was terrifying and the man disappeared in very strange circumstances. Another was a former eventing lady who purchased, rehabilitated, trained and sold on cobs. One person started a campaign against her which completely ruined her and she is now far away from the public eye. I do hope you are able to ignore the minority and continue with your amazing plans for the future. It's worth remembering that the majority matter and the minority do not. I hope you and yours have an amazing 2025! 😊

I really don't get people who think they're entitled to either knowing everything about your life or think they should have a say in what you do with YOUR horses! Of course you can't keep all of them that would be ridiculous! Sorry you had such issues with people on social media. I've missed your videos, and I'm glad you're comfortable coming back soon!

Great video 🤍. I love watching Dali’s journey. It reminds me so much of my horse. He is also an 18-hand Warmblood, and we are making our way through this show jumping life by ourselves here in Australia. I can’t believe how far he has come along in a short time. And I hope he has as much success as Dali in the next few years. I can also feel your pain from riding a huge horse. 😂 So Much Work! But it's such a nice feeling!

Ouhhhh this is such an interesting update!! If I’m honest, I haven’t been a dedicated follower as I have not been watching all videos since I’ve became a mom 16 months ago!! So I didn’t noticed the Khal mean comments. I’m glad you didn’t quit thought. Khal is phenomenal and I’m very happy you found a good situation for you to keep riding him :) while we don’t know how Welbeck’s foals will be, you said it quite well, Fiona is a proven broodmare and I really hope you have your Fiona filly in 2026!

I'm so sorry people have given you grief over Khal. The entirety of your life is not at any one's pleasure. That you share anything with any one of us here is a gift of one person's experiences, knowledge and daily interactions, being summed up into short videos, allowed to echo through the internet and time for others to see and learn from. You owe no one here anything. If they cannot understand that, you are not at their leisure to explain it to them constantly. Secondly, and well more horse related 😅 if you're going down the route of ixy (sp?) with Fiona, are you considering getting/using se×ed swimmers to raise your chances of getting a filly? Hope it all goes well with Fiona! 🤗

Not sure if this has been asked or not but with the plan of using Fiona’s embryos, will you also go with sexed semen for the chance of having a filly from her? I would presume it would be expensive as heck but was curious your thoughts on that side of things/if you feel if it would be worthtrying.

As someone who has followed you for years and watched every video that you’ve put out, I can totally understand your frustration regarding the comments on Khal. I’ve SEEN the comments and I honestly didn’t know how you were able to cope with them. The greediness and the nerve some people have is just baffling. I don’t know how many times you commented that you couldn’t talk about Khal and people just couldn’t listen and be patient. But I can say, you have a lot of awesome followers who understood you and didn’t pester. It’s always those few people who ruin it for the rest of us but I’m glad you didn’t let them push you over in the end. I’m sure many can agree that we simply appreciate your videos and allowing us to follow your journey with your horses - that is all we could ask for, nothing else. You’re not obligated to tell us everything or anything. I hope those who felt different would learn that not everything is about them and to appreciate (and be grateful for) all your time and efforts. Thank you Holly!!! Hope you have a happy new years and I look forward to watching your journey with the horses in 2025 :)

Thanks for the updates on them all 🙂 It constantly amazes me the nerve of people who don't know you 'presume' or expect to know everything little tiny thing going on with YOUR horses and YOUR personal live. It will be good to follow both Wiggy and Khal's campaigns with you next year, I shall be looking forward to that. Have a happy, healthy New Year, you, your family and of course all the horses!

It's WILD that Fiona doesn't have any Siblings that is known, She clearly is an exception brood mare . Some of the top horses in the world have Irish mares in the back of the pedigree , Little did the Breeders know back then that their farm mares that pulled the plough in the bog would be in those top pedigree.
@fleetskipper18107 күн бұрын
Social media is by nature boundary-less so people lose their social boundaries when they comment. Sad truth. I’ve noticed that a lot of your commenters don’t have the first clue of not only the monetary cost of keeping horses, showing horses, and breeding horses, they don’t understand the emotional investment that you make any horse you have. Some more than others of course, but that’s a huge part of the equation. Most people have the erroneous idea that horses should stay in “forever homes,” like kitties and puppies. Well, that’s not the way the horse world works nor could it work that way. Horses live to be 30 years old. People’s financial circumstances and ability to own a horse change overtime. People are naïve. They don’t understand that not all horses that don’t stay in “forever homes” end up in kill auctions. That’s a distinction that these commenters fail to make.
