Can't believe this video was made in 2006 ! Introduced me to ES Posthumus, I didn't even know Christian Bale back then, who is now one of my fav actors from the Batman Trilogy, just watched Equilibrium, instantly reminded me about this edit ! amazing work, timeless piece ! :)

Equilibrium is an awesome movie, done with a very modest budget while trying desperately not to step too much in The Matrix's territory. This movie is what solidified Christian Bale's role as Batman.

dkelleym Exactly my thoughts, This movie is fucking solid in my opinion. Christian Bale, Sean Bean & Angus McFadden did a hell of an excellent job at playing their characters so freaking good. It's one of my Top 10 Favourite movies.

The movie is called Equilibrium as in the tittle of the video, he deserve to be known in my opinion. And If Sean Bean is in the movie, his role is small and you are right, he does die

Beautiful, I loved every second of it. You managed to capture the emotional content of the film, and even create some of your own. The editing and synching was brilliant, and the song you selected was just awesome. I don't think I can get express it any more, this is probably one of the best movies I've seen on this site.

I was looking up E.S. Posthumus, having heard about them in a discussion forum and came across this. Equilibrium is one of my favorite science fiction movies. Emily Watson is smokin' hot in it.(she's in my age group, OK?) Anyway, I really like how you set the music to the movie. I think it would have been even better your way.

This is very good video. The editing is really well-timed to the music; the rise and fall of the action matches the verses and the chorus of the music. And I'm kind of inclined to like the video anyway because it features "Ebla".

So, you might not see this. But I saw your MV before the movie and then when I saw the actual 'boss fight' (5:05) I was totally annoyed by how unawesome it was without some decent music. You made it awesome. Good work.

This clip taught me 1 thing: Christian Bale can only fight(/dance) when completely surrounded. I mean that was like the same exact scene done 4 times only with a change of crew. (Or same crew, but with and without helmets).

The fight scene at 2:20 was done in one take; that's why directors love working with Christian Bale. The rumor that he's 'hard to work with' is simply not true. He is super serious about getting the work done, and getting it done properly.
