Test drove both the Xe and Xc, love them both. If I only had $15,000 dollars. This would be the bike I own.

That's art that is. It looks like the start of some arty lifestyle documentary. Problem is, I now want to watch the rest of the movie.... needs poetic voice over by some deep voiced actor.

Awesome. Looking forward to seeing more. Watch out for those pesky Telegraph/Electric cables. ( speaking from experience 🙈)

Yeah I was feeling brave! Just liked the way the powerlines were in shot with the road, as the cyclist travelled between them like it was on a track. I was an inch away from a run in with big ol' tree though! 😂

What make of mirror is that hanging down from the right hand bar?
@unparalleledtwin9014 жыл бұрын
That's a Puig Tracker bar end mirror, ditched the clamp and just mounted the arm straight to the handlebar. Using OEM hardware on the handlebar clamp just next to switchgear. Ace mirror, no tank contact on full lock, sturdy and high quality. Visibility is surprisingly decent.

What boots are you wearing and how do you like them?
@unparalleledtwin9014 жыл бұрын
These are Merlin Clan boots, I absolutely love them, real retro MX vibes with their buckle styling, but performance of a modern boot with being waterproof lined and a huge side entry zip. My go to for long trips and less than average weather. Highly recommended!

Also...did you get ND filters with the Mavic Mini? I've found them super useful to shoot underexposed and you can get a much better Dynamic Range in post-processing (Premiere Pro).

Nothing with it out of the box! What would you recommend? Have looked into ND filters for my GoPro too, to capture that scenic motion blur.
@lifeofascrambler4 жыл бұрын
@@unparalleledtwin901 So DJI included a 16, 64 and 256 with the Mavic Air 2 which I barely use the 256 because it goes way too dark, I stick mostly with the lower two options. I've heard PGYtech are good and maybe Sunnylife ND filters? I got my GoPro filters from amazon for like $30 AUD so not expensive at all and make a huge diff

What brand of rear rack is mounted on your XC?
@unparalleledtwin9014 жыл бұрын
It's made by Hepco & Becker, I highly recommend it! The blacked out paint and the retro cage like styling really suit the Scram. I posted about it with some close up photo's on my Instagram if you wanted to check it out 🤙 instagram.com/p/CHvem6jB6OE/

How is the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC. Why you didn't buy the XE? I'm 177cm and I really want the scrambler. I hear many say, that you have to be over 180cm for the XE.

If you’re a fan of the Triumph Scrambler, read Forgotten Road by Randall Arthur. The whole last half of the book highlights the Scrambler with numerous on-road adventures. The book is a work of fiction, but supposedly the adventures in the book are all based on Arthur’s real-life experiences.
