I don't have enough words in my vocabulary to tell you how good you did with her! You have a lovely jumping position, I am a first time ottb owner and I've been riding for 10 years and trying to turn him into an eventer or h/j good luck on your journey with your gorgeous mare ❤️

Her thigh tells ALL at the 14:00 mark. So fit and healthy. This is incredible work. Great video content as well. You included the WHY for every thing you saw or did with your OTTB. 😊 Edit to add: which is wonderful for green riders, too.

How would you go about teaching shoulder in off the circle?
@theequinecraze53674 жыл бұрын
I can tell you know what your doing especially the under saddle but I’m slightly confused about why you where on her the second day she seemed fine but everything I’ve ever heard or learned most ottbs should really get a few weeks to mounths some even a year before you get on but that’s just my knowing and idk how long she was off the track when you bought her so... just if you could clarify this to me I would really appreciate! ABSOLUTELY no hate intended just curious! GREAT JOB WITH THIS LOVELY MARE💕 ALSO YOUR SEAT CAN I HAVE HALF THAT SEAT LIKE MY SEAT SUCKS BUT COMPARED TO URS!!!🤩
@EquineCass4 жыл бұрын
No worries! I totally understand your concern. She had been off the track for 6 months and had her proper let down period after the track! I would never ride an OTTB before they'd had their let down period :)

my OTTB came to me when he was 9, he came to me with a top line like your horse but all of my trainers said that i cannot canter him untill his topline is built up. its been 5 months now and my trainers still say that he is not ready to canter. i think he is ready what do i do? he is ballenced at the trot and we have poped over some trotting jumps. my barn is realy strict and we risk getting asked to leave is i dont do what my trainers say. if it was not for one of our family friends that work aat the barn, we would have left awhile ago.

Hi! I bought a toroughbred english. He stayed for 2 years, and now I worked with him for about 45 minutes, and the next day he couldn't step on his right front leg. Does he have a medical problem because he was used to racing? Thanks also congratulations for what you do with the horses!
