Equinox 800 Gold + SEATED!!!

The Equinox has been off to an incredible start. I've never dug a Seated quarter...and within a week, I dug two at different locations!

I've only ever found two seated coins, both dimes. Maybe I'll find one someday, but until then, I'll dream about this video.

Awesome finds BD. Nice seated. Found my first seated dime this year. an 1854. They are very rare up here in Canada. I bought an 800 as well. Its hard calling coins as theres a huge overlap between coppers and silver. Our clad in Canada is all nickel other than pennies so its all between 2 and 13. Makes cherry picking silvers real easy. Had great success so far with the 800

Isn't it great when you think it is a barber and it turns out to be a seated! Nice Ring! Great job! On my 600 I like Park2 with recovery speed of 2, and iron bias of 1. I think it is easier for ETRAC users to upgrade to the Equinox series. I am coming from a Deus, and it has been a little bit more challenging.

Great video, Great hunts, Great finds. I have a Nox 600 and a CTX. I will say you can't beat the CTX for the info of the target ID numbers to let you know pretty much what your digging in trashy areas. It's almost like the Nox is a beep and dig machine and I'm not saying the nox isn't good, it is a awesome machine and it has been really good to me this last month. I have found stuff I missed with the CTX. But I have also dug a lot of targets with the Nox I passed on with the CTX because I new they were trash or clad by the numbers. ATB Cheers Mark gl&hh

Walk through your setting for me. I run park two. Iron n discrimination at about 12 notches. Recovery speed set to 6-8 depending. Sensitivity set at 25 and. It’s been working good for me. I am a new user. I’ve only had the nox 800 for a month. Still learning this machine..

+Scott Pavek iron bias at 0 (I dig more nails but prefer that to miss g something), recovery speed at 6. Discriminate out everything up to 18. Then, whenever you hear the slightest peep, stop and investigate.

The 11" is great. I wouldn't consider it huge. It may seem big if you're currently swinging an 8" or something. There is a sniper coil available...not sure about other aftermarket coils.

I'm still waiting for my nox 800 was wondering if you could let me know what your using in your custom program I want to go over a old park that I haven't been getting much from with my at gold. Hope to find things that it wasn't showing me.

Basically, use Park 2 and then discriminate out everything below 18. And I've been using 50 tones. That's the easy part. The trick is to then listen for any squeakers and investigate them. I usually do everything I can to make a signal digable. And if I can't, then I move on. There is also a technique I've found when hunting high trash areas. You have to remember that the recovery speed on this thing is fast...so when you are trying to isolate a target...you've got to keep it really tight. If you've ever done the ETrac wobble...it's sort of like that. Play around with targets on the surface. I took a dime, nickle, and a pair of kids scissors and set them next to each other and swung over them...then started bringing everything in closer and closer. Until I had the dime and nickle about 1 inch from each other...then put the scissors right between them. It still gave a sharp chirp that I could isolate into a digable signal. Anyway...hope you find the goods! Good luck...HH!

Yeah...I will try to do that more often. Many times in the really trashy areas, the numbers jump all over, but the tone is high. The gold ring rang up high (for gold) it was an 18/19...thought I was digging a penny!
