had my etrac out today ( first time user) and i now knew why i've been digging up nails at high numbers, i had it run Andy S pattern at multi tone and Co. i wish i had found this vid to at least warn me about how the Etrac falsing on those very old nails...will try TT ferrous open screen in my next hunt and compare the difference.

Can a pond filter pump be used to filter the water or is a submersible pump much better?
@markb895412 күн бұрын
It’s all based on GPH (gallons per hour). No difference between a small pond and a small pool.

I have over 200 1943s penny's I just soaked them in sewing machine oil. They are coming clean just fine. I cleaned the container and washed everything with alcohol between oil soaks. The luster even came back

Very good idea but please all make sure that you also do what another commenter does by treating the water regularly. The pump will give the appearance of “clean water” but the bacteria will tell another story. Water-born bacterial infections are not fun…take it from me…a longtime hot tub owner. Staph infections are not fun for adult humans let alone the junior-sized humans. Ouch. Good luck, all. I’m just looking for an easy filter for a small outdoor dog pool I’m using in good weather for my aquarium-bound red-eared slider…still looking!! Keep those DIY suggestions coming! Very helpful!

@@BeamDigger hello how you doing Nate . my X-80 Compass is broke down but i hope to have a backup detector by end of june or July . hope i can make a trip out there . if i see the rocks up close i will know if i am correct ...i just like the hunt . but i have won a few times ...lol i like gold prospecting in AZ been diamond hunting in ARK , lived in wym a few years . but i am from Upstate NY ..but let's see how the site fits the data first ...anything we recover would be great ...fair even cut after expenses, any time you treasure hunt you have a grub stake cost . most of the time it's out pocket . but in this case i think won't matter ,there is a big old tree in the background of your video is the river over that way on the other side of the tree ...? let me guess the river is 60-65 yards away .where the time go Nate i watch that show in 2015 . it's been 7 years

how about this when i stop in your state ... i go on a hunt with you and but my X-80 compass skills side by side with your detector and show you why i don't use new detectors any more .we team up we go there i will tell you what i know and if you don't think i am 100% on the level i will walk away .. end of story ... i spent $54,000. on 6 expeditions looking for the Lost Dutchman Mine ... i would not be here talking to you if it was not worth our time , we don't know if we can even locate what it is . i have been doing this from the age of 7 , investigating the unknown is what i do best ...i am just a rock hound and know a lot about treasure hunting and cache hunting ...i have been detecting longer then you have been alive ...i dug a lot of sites like what you dig thousands of them ...i got to go back to AZ this coming year let me know i will stop by on the way to AZ .

i am still waiting to reach a agreement with you ... i have been metal detecting for over 50 years .. the mystery in the woods . i know what it is ... let me know ...i live in NY so i am not going to go all the way there un less we can reach a partnership agreement . you posted that in Sep 13, 2015...and its 2021 now and 2022 before i can get out to your state .. what do you got to loose ...if we don't find anything you loose anything . but if i am correct . if did not dig every target i would not be here talking to you .

I'm amazed I have to try it, I admit it kinda seems like a bit of work but it's so worth it it after. Amazing job I've tryed viniger and salt for my pennies, and I found this pennies out side and it was completely cover with some gray hard stuff it wasent sument or rust idk what it was but I pit the penny in the bowl of viniger and salt I took it out and wiped every 30 mons and after a whole day I started to notice the penny started to turn black and then I seen that there were starting to form small holes like it was desolving... so I was like ya no and I threw it out lol I just don't no what went wrong
