Yes, your video is one of the best on instructing the Nox set up. clear and precise and you can see the actual adjustments as you make them. explanations are good too. I hadn't used my 600 for several months and managed to get it out of sorts. did the reset etc and good to go again. watched this video for a quick refresher and all is well again. my memory isn't what it used to be but videos like this are awesome for guys like me or newbees. thanks Jerry/Dirtlooter

excellent video Gigmaster! I just bought the Nox 800 late Dec 2018, and have used it about 5 times, still learning sounds and the "can slaw" scenario you showed made sense as it is jumping all over the place; it makes sense if you can not get consistent VDI reading from hitting the target from different directions, chances more than not it is junk, when compared to lead bullet, button or coin. Good tips!

Awesome settings Steve, I'm impressed. It's a pretty wide open profile and coupling that with adjusting sensitivity based on site is the way to go. Good job. I do want to recommend to find the "occupied" site and grid it tightly. Look for the iron patch and plan your attack...grid it tightly and dig every good tone, high or low. The 50 tone is actually awesome especially if you're in an iron patch

@@michaeljameslee1847 After purchasing the Equinox 600 two days ago I hadn't had a chance to hunt with it unilt yesterday so How About this for a very first find with the Equinox 600, I was blown away yesterday I literally took 10 steps from my car and started swinging and the detector signaled a target at 17 so I dug it and there it was about 3 to 4 inches down, A sterling Silver Ring 9.25 with a amethyst stone and diamonds all over it, I had to take a deep breath and step back, I though I was dreaming or my eyes had gone bad. What a find, After that I continued my hunt finding a hand full of clad, a spoon a large leash clasp, metal hair clip, 3 brass rifle shells and loads of trash. This hunt was in a park in Eustis. Florida. A great day for sure The Equinox 600 is for real. JJ
