Great video Ryan. I’m a cat dealer technician, one thing you might want to consider letting your customers know is excessive idle time on machines with after treatment is not a good idea.(not saying idle time is the cause of failure in this situation) I’ve seen many problems with the after treatment systems on machines that could have been avoided by not allowing excessive idle time. Again great video. Stay safe.

Most of my CAT ET usage has been on military vehicles which are emissions exempt and do not have regen systems. "Adept Ape" youtube channel has a complete course on CAT Regen systems if your unaware. Thanks!

Once I saw that E sticker on the machine I knew it was local. Looks like you’re an east valley guy. I work in the west valley. Half the jobs info anymore are emission related. For some codes you gotta run a verification test and it will clear the codes depending on what they are.

Did the regen work? At the end of the video, ET said it was preparing for the regen. I've been let down more that once at that point!! On the truck side, we data log the regen to look at the flame temp. etc. to make sure it is a quality regen. Good work on your part.

regen on a loader? wtf? Isn't there anyone that can program it out of the ECU, and put it in a garbage can ? Cat off, DPF off, EGR off all the works
