Sir, in the pickup truck problem, I think you wrote the moment equation wrong. You wrote this: 2 Ra * 3 - 14000 * 1.2 - 3500 * 3.75 * 2.05 = 0 I think it should be: 2 Ra * 3 - 14000 * 1.2 - 3500 * 3.75 - 3500 * 2.05 = 0 Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you.

@56:28 we can describe it as a smooth surface surface. And if the motion is within 90 deg of rotation then an assumption of pin support is also valid. Regardless, for the question we can simply take the moment about the question as it would cancel both the moments for the forces passing through A.

If the body is constrained only with the minimum number of required supports and also in the proper way, then the system is statically determinate. That is one of the reasons that we generally see a beam supported with hinged support at one end and a roller support at the other end.

Consider a triangle ABC , where AB=4M , CB =4SIN45 , AC =4COS45 which means sin45=( CB/4) CB=4sin45 Where cos45=(AC/4) AC=4cos45
