I appreciate that Noah can step up and admit that his behavior wasn’t the greatest. As humans we make mistakes. I think most of us can say when we were in our mid-twenties we made some bad choices that we regret as we get older. It’s being able to acknowledge and apologize that shows our character.

Very well said, and I kinda get where he was coming. You have to remember at the time ER was on its fifth season, Noah was one of the original cast members, and to have this new actress (Martin) join the cast and all of a sudden her character is getting all the story lines (which after rewatching season 5 recently she really wasn’t, season 5 was centered around Doug and Carol). It’s like your parents having another child and suddenly you being the older sibling, aren’t getting all the attention anymore. Now granted being rude to her, off camera is taking this too far.

It is my go-to show and no matter how many times I watch it I always get hit right in the feels when Lucy dies and when Mark Greene dies. I've always thought if she didn't leave Carter and Lucy would have ended up together that certainly look like where they were going. Either way the fact that after all these years all the times I've seen it it can still invoke emotion from me just shows how well they did their job

iloveperfume I first bought the box set in late 2009 from China I got another copy a few years ago and I just want the whole series again on Hulu. I started the show when I had back surgery in 2001 so the 7th season and I was hooked. Watching reruns on TNT catching up I've seen every episode I don't know how many times it's my go TV show. If I can't find anything else to watch I can always always watch that I absolutely love the original six. Didn't like Kerry at first thing you're not supposed to I don't think but with Weaver she grows on you Romano's a prick but he's funny. Lucy that character had so much potential what saddens me more than her actual death is what could have been. Dr. Greg Pratt grew on me the only flaw with the series for me was to thugs Abby Lockhart is not a strong replacement for Carol Hathaway Samantha Taggart fits roll better. And I hated the series finale I would have had Rachel Greene start as an intern at the beginning of the season and dr. Carter comes in at the beginning of the season and takes over the ER. Kind of Full Circle if you will.

@@rockinrj87 I just finished watching all 15 seasons (had seen the show as a teen but not all episodes) and I watched the finale today. I had the same thought, I would have had Kate Banfield get her adoption and leave to be with her family, and have Carter take over as Chief. Season 15 wasn't great, I feel the way they brought in the OG characters was a little wedged in, but I get that they had to do some fan service. I don't think that Abby or Sam were replacements for Carol but I do find it interesting how there was only ever one main character nurse on the show - I would have loved to see Chuny or Malik or Haleh get just one little arc. All in all it's a fantastic show and I'm so glad I watched all of the episodes - I can see how it'd be a go to for you and I'm sure I'll eventually figure out my favuorite season, though it's probably almost certainly one in the first half with the OG characters. Didn't love the last 5 seasons although Pratt and Morris did definitely grow on me as well.
@rockinrj874 жыл бұрын
@@amstreater they certainly recycled stories. But you're able to do that with a show like that where it's a medical school so you can easily tell the same story over with a different character I agree with you the first half was better. My favorite episode is probably to hell or high water The one where Doug Ross saves the boy in the storm drain. Favorite character Dr Mark Green for sure. I just feel like you start the show on John Carter's first day as an intern it would have been fitting if in the last season he's the chief of the department and I would have had season 15 have Rachel Green starting her internship I don't think there's a great way to end the show like that honestly you were going to end up disappointing some people

I remember this episode it was so heartbreaking. Talk about professional, Kellie Martin had to work with someone very closely who seems like he was a jerk. The rocky relationship never showed on screen, their chemistry was off the charts. She never told Noah Wylie was going on in her personal life, rather came to work and did her job. She was even gracious about her exit and saying goodbye to him, this interview is a first start but he definitely owes her an apology in real life. I hope he gave her one.

I only had the opportunity to meet Noah in person twice (his family were close friends with a friend of mine) and for a few hours at most, but it was not long after he hit his peak of fame. I’ve met other actors during that time in their lives and it’s amazing how quickly their feeling of entitlement grows. However, for Noah being the age he was and on a hit show he had such a grounded and easygoing presence about him. Granted, he was with his parents during a family event, but I recall him downplaying much of his recent success. I’ve been told and he admitted himself that he felt superior oftentimes, but that was never the impression he gave me during the two times we spoke in passing. I’m glad to see that he’s acknowledging his past mistakes because he is a great actor and a very kind hearted person from a lovely family.

All the characters were deeply human and flawed to varying degrees. Kerry Weaver was not likable but she wanted power. Dr Greene was probably the most clear headed doctor on the show until he got sick. Romano was irredeemably awful 9/10 times. Never watched ER again on a regular basis after they killed of her character. She was such a brilliant actress - so many different storylines could have been given to her.

He acts like Kellie was a newbie actor. She led the cast of a popular show as a kid, and has done a LOT by the time she was on ER. Sounds like a toxic set.

That was my show when I was younger. Sigh and I cried and cried and cried because of that show. I also had pulmonary embolism that just makes me so sad.

I’ve coded a colleague before. While this show missed a lot of realistic stuff, the reactions to the initial trauma and the code were pretty damn close.

What an absolute shame that Noah, who is also older than her, treated her so terribly. When she was just a kid coming into an already established show with really big actors. Shame on him. Glad he feels bad for his actions. Hopefully he apologized her face.

But that way she could have a moment with her co-stars and not just be unconscious. Seeing her realizing her own diagnosis, it was such a great performance.

Did they or did they not let the murderer go on account of him "not being himself" and return him to his wife and child? WHY?

Due to his mental health issues, he ended up being released. Carter would see the guy a few seasons later and he kept it together as long as he could, but that was brutal.

Lubbylove89 Unfortunately in the entertainment business even people who may have been raised to exhibit kind behavior find themselves sucked into the fear of not being #1 or jealous of others prior achievements or threatened by others talent and thus question their own abilities.

Just the type of guy who isn't a leader. Instead of taking her under his wing and showing her the ropes, he's jealous that she got an episode dedicated to her when she started.
