ER101 STILL surprises me after 10 years! | Modular Mayhem with Colin Benders

Last weekend I was asked to do a full ambient show with no drums, so I got creative with some patch ideas and stumbled upon a feature I had never used before... let's see how deep we can go with this! expect lots of polyphony and wild sequences, things can get crazy today...!

You've probably read the manual as this was 8 days ago, but if you haven't you should look at the config.ini file on the SD card in the ER-102. In that file you can modify how the ER-102 responds to input CV by having it essentially act as a sample an hold per step rather than responding in real time or having the CV impact the group pre or post-look up. So basically you can setup it up to have the ER-102 quantize things. Something else to consider, a personal favorite of mine... since you can have two groups work at once, you can do some fun things with step length by having group 1 add length to one group and group 2 subtract the same value from the other group. So you can essentially induce swing controlled by CV.

Such a shame these live streams start around 3am for me. Would love to watch live again. That section starting 2:13:00 is EPIC !!!!!! Puts me into a place that not much music does (Biosphere, Woob, and similar).
