Performance-wise, please be optimized and no major game-breaking bugs at release. I'm excited to play Era One in 2025.

With all respect to the developers, this very trailer stutters in places. Plus the lighting looks impressive and the models are very detailed. I would expect no less than 8 gigs of VRAM as a minimum, which sadly excludes me from playing it.

looks fantastic! only criticism I can make is that the larger ships still seem too reliant on 'filler' parts. Too many of those six way connectors filling up the hull. I really hope they add more internal parts.
@CIinbox3 күн бұрын
Hope they aren't 100k poly's each even though they are obscured by the outer hull. Judging by the framerate, they just might be.

Voice work needs a rework to make it more believable, but it looks really good.

Idk man, kind of gives OG Homeworld vibes, I like it.
@amodernmercenary2 күн бұрын
How would you make it more believable? Can you define what you mean?
@VyCanisMajorisCSA2 күн бұрын
@@amodernmercenary The commander speaks like he is reading from a script, instead of someone with something at stake. I feel no assertion, no aggressiveness. It's too 'affected' and bland at the same time. Either create a typical "tough commander" guy with a rough voice that sounds like the dude smokes 3 cigars at same time and is a veteran of 3 wars, or create a realistic, cold but reliable guy like Lt Nathaniel Fick or Godfather from Generation Kill.

this is one of the most interesting space games I'm looking for, hopefully it's not going to disappoint. the first thought I have when I see it is the 1998 game Stratosphere (except, obviously, Homeworld).

Looks really good! I hope you will be adding trireme style rams at some point in the future with a bow section to the ships, so that we can do propper ramming, or at least build some elegant warships.

5/10. You get 4 more points if you can place a character in the ship, enter 1st person, and walk the interior/control the ship. 1 more point if you make it multiplayer online.

One thing that concerns me is the game pacing. Such huge elaborate ships assume quite the amounts of pressure-free downtime to calmly think them through and be creative. Yet the overall Homeworld gmeplay assumes the RTS usual APM-intensive gameplay. In my mind those two don't go well together.

I’m a little confused… Is this pvp? Pve? It looks like a menu-based space engineers’ creative mode. Is this an rts or are all ships piloted by a player each?…
@irprocess4 күн бұрын
It will be a 3D space RTS with base building mechanics, player vs AI, and in the future multiplayer. Every player will move an army of stations/ships like in other RTS.

And another 3 months delayed.... why do you not just get some realistic date or put it into open honest early access?
@sasquatchhadarock9682 күн бұрын
Development is hard. Also, Steam's new policies on DLC, early access etc might be rippling through the developer population.
