You obviously haven't gone through infertilty. Telling someone you had a dream about them being pregnant is really not uplifting and helpful just creates sadness and more pain. What she needs is just to trust her instinct , pick up the pieces and somehow finds the strength to move on and not given false hope ! Specifically after so many losses. This is exactly the last thing she would wanna hear !

Lovely to hear an update and thank you for being honest about the real and raw emotions - it sounds like taking that step back is essential. I find it interesting that they want to change the time of the transfer vs. progesterone. My ERA showed I was pre-receptive and I just took my progesterone at a different time. You paid all this money, I would advocate to have it timed bang on with the results of the ERA. Sending all the love, praying that this round is successful for you folks.

Yes! My thoughts exactly & why I’ve arranged an appointment with my specialist to discuss - I’ve spent SO much money on this test, so we need to do it right!... whether my specialist believes it’ll make a difference or not! I want to make sure we follow the recommendations exactly, and aren’t just changing the transfer time by 6 hours rather than the 12 hours. I’m going to push to change the timing of the progesterone instead of changing the transfer time... Thank you for sharing your experience xx

Really hoping you can find clarity in timing. Tim and Celeste Yup they kept the same transfer time but instead of starting the PIO in the morning 5 days before, I started it the night before on the 6th night out and then did it every night so the last one I did was the night before my transfer instead of the morning of

After my ERA they changed my progesterone so that I took it for 5 and half days before transfer rather than 5. For me it helped. Since everything else was good on your last transfer and as timing issues are thought by many experts to be a leading cause of implantation failure and chemical pregnancy, it would certainly make sense to make a change here. I really hope this next one works out, you have worked so hard for it xx

Thank you! I’m so glad it helped you! My understanding is that you can either change the timing of the progesterone or the timing of the embryo transfer to the recommendation of the era results. Our clinic wants to change the timing of the transfer, but it won’t be the 12 hours the era suggests, so I’m now wondering if we just keep the transfer time the same and just alter the progesterone accordingly... it can get so confusing! Xx

It sounds like the ERA was definitely worth it and will lead to helpful changes once the confusion is cleared up! 🥰 Maybe they are hesitant to change the progesterone because she's on an induced ovulation cycle? My FETs were all meds with no actual ovulation... The combination you were thinking of with moving the transfer time as well as shifting the start of the progesterone sounds like a great plan to me since she will have her own hormones going as well as medication. Hope you get it all figured out when you talk to your doctor! I am keeping you guys in my prayers. Hugs ❤

I don't believe in prayers Celeste . What I wish for you though is to find the strength in yourself to continue this path and look after your mental well being . I have gone through this for many years and endured major depression and I can tell you that I'm one big fighter but this is not a journey for even the strongest of us . It tears us apart , makes us bleed internally and can break us into pieces . Look after yourself and your man . Men don't show much but they also suffer deeply just differently.

Figure out when the transfer will be from the clinic. For a 5 day embryo, start PIO 108 hours prior instead of 120 hours prior. You’ll need to keep that exact time of day for the days leading up to the transfer. If that ends up being at a very inconvenient time, then you can slowly adjust the time to be a better time after the transfer (talk with your doctor about this).

According to the era results, the transfer needs to be 150 hours, (give or take 3 hours), post trigger & either the progesterone needs to be started 12 hours later than it was taken in the era cycle, or the transfer needs to be moved forward 12 hours, but the latter option isn’t possible due to time of day. So I’m just hoping changing the progesterone timing will be fine! We already have an appointment scheduled to discuss with our specialist next week 🤞🏼

Tim and Celeste I didn’t use a trigger shot for my transfer so I’m not sure about that additional piece. My ERA showed I needed 24 more hours of progesterone, so I did 6 days of PIO before my transfer of a 5 day embryo. My embryos were also PGS tested, and I really believe the extra progesterone made the difference (had early chemical pregnancy with 1st transfer). I hope this makes all of the difference for your next transfer! Good luck to you guys!!!

Girl I tried for a whole year I could not get pregnant through IVF. Nothing wrong with me, no medical issues. But as soon as I did the ERA test, BOOM! I got pregnant!. I was prereceptive! I’m now 14 weeks pregnant

I strongly believe the ERA test is key!! I only had one PGS tested embryo. I wanted to be sure I had the best chance of this working. I did the ERA test and I was pre-receptive. So for my transfer cycle, I had to take the EXACT same meds as the ERA test cycle BUT adjust the timing of when to start taking the meds so I would be receptive at transfer. Well, my one little embryo is now my almost 2 year old girl! I''m praying this will work for you too! Best of luck.! :)

@@TimandCeleste I only took estrace and progesterone. I had to have the exact same meds and quantities for the transfer as I did for the ERA test. The only difference was the timing of taking progesterone because my body needed more progesterone to be 'receptive' during transfer (as indicated by the ERA test as 'pre-receptive'). So I started taking progesterone earlier. I don't remember if it was 6 hours or 12 hours earlier but it was whatever was suggested by the ERA test results.

Halfway around the world, I think of you so often. What more can get added to your issues.....a freaking pandemic! What's left? We need to do a complete shut down again here in the States. I know, right?! What’s left? I didn’t share this in the video, but the area in which I live is currently fighting to try and stop a billion dollar company and the government from dumping toxic soil nearby, as it is known to cause 13 types of cancers, birth defects, miscarriage, infertility, and all other kinds of horrific life threatening things. So another battle I feel is out of my control! It’s exhausting... And gosh yes - I feel for anyone in the States! So so scary... Thank you for your kind words x

Hi beautiful! I can feel your pain and frustration! And you are not alone! I have done 4 rounds of IVF and experience a loss in the middle but we change doctors many times and finally we found are fit and let me share something different that we are going to do for are embryo transfer, the doctor would like to add embryo glue to the embryo, I know it sounds crazy but she told me it gives you a 10% chance and at this point I would do anything even if you give me 1%chance, the glue has a protein that helps implantation (Hyaluronan) and it won’t affect the embryo, the other thing is Intralipids basically is nutritional supplements, before the transfer and also a scratch or tickle what she called that to the uterus few days before the transfer to wake up the nerves around this extra 3 things she is adding is because I have had 4 failed froze embryo transfer, we also did The Era test and I’m early receptive,thank god with did bacause that answers some questions, I’m having hysteroscopy tomorrow and hopefully next month will have the embryo transfer and hopefully with new protocols the doctor is doing we have a good chance, I just wanted to share because I have struggled with infertility for 7 years and have never heard about this new things that give a 10% more chance! If you feel moving the progesterone up will help then please continue to advocate for that. I don’t see the harm in doing that but I can see harm in not doing it and then you wondering “what if”. I hope your doctor and the office respects your wishes because this is YOUR baby, YOUR money, YOUR emotions and life that is being changed by this. Not theirs.
