0:43 the quote .simply put there are two types of influence: one rooted in personal qualities like character, charisma, talent, and ingenuity, morality and another tied to convenience or material resources, like money. The first suggests a deeper, more lasting impact, where one's influence persists even if they're no longer present. In contrast, the second implies a more superficial influence, dependent on external factors that can easily change or vanish.

@@JaviOnTiming I think we’re confusing being a social butterfly, having an open personality, being likable and friendly as talent. Kai isn’t talented, he’s good at video games, funny and easy to watch. Hard work and consistency isn’t the same as talent. No one is taking away from his merit, but to make it seem like he’s a “gifted and talented” person is a reach.

With the ISO dude, I think the whole point of Kai giving him 20k, a speed date and more wasn’t to give him a starter kit. It comes off more like Kai flexing his success by showing how he can change a random guy’s lifestyle on a whim. The only way he’ll be a star is if people continue following him past that. Thats all up to his creativity, but at the same time I can understand your point because he can pay someone to manage him and actually start a career from nothing. Its the luck of the draw kind of thing since it was born from a flex.

That's why you see parents trying "often too hard" to mold their children into talented people. Since they gotta do something because the money they have is not gonna be there forever. A rich kid spending their parents money just to not do anything isn't helping them. Yet a rich kid using their parents money to become richer like they took that 100k and made it 1 mil is a solid flip. As one of my old mentors told me "You gotta setup the luck"

Don't forget that this is also a mainly Generation Z thing as well, we always had infomercials that are now meme status now so the whole influencer effect for branding is HEAVILY due to the parasocial effect on steroids. With older celebrities, we saw them as famous but not as relatable but with influencers and how they can paint themselves they can make themselves seem relatable to the masses. Hell we just recently saw some influencer try to prove you make 1mil from nothing....and realized that you cant just hustle culture your way to 1mil, but imagine the relatable factor if he did pull it off, scripted or not.
