Thank u for your content. I wish there were a directory of dermatologists who are knowledgeable about Indian skin (I live in the metro Detroit area) and I want to have some “permanent freckles” (lentigines?) removed but I’m scared of scarring if they don’t know how to adjust for brown skin.

Yes it's hard to find derms familiar with skin of color. I would honestly google because I am sure there are derms in Detroit who are familiar with skin of color. I did my residency at Henry Ford, and so I am sure at Henry Ford, there are derms who do cosmetics who can help you.
