It's kind of sad when you realize that she's using her quick on herself every time she gets rejected by aizawa that's why aizawa never cancels Her quirk everytime she asks him out when you take a good look at ms jokes face a split second she activates Her quirk where instead of crying she laughs based on the reaction time she probably done this before enough for aizawa to be aware si he never cancels Her quirk I think he purposely let her be misunderstood or she did this before as a joke but when she truly meant what she said he let her down which is a downside of this scenario perhaps this is her way to let aizawa know her feelings as she never gave up yet all aizawa feels is guilt since he knows about her feelings yet he can't respond to her at all based on his personality or perhaps that rejection broke her and drove her to madness where she unknowingly does this repeatedly to the point that aizawa becomes the haggard person that he is which explains a lot why he looks like that where his lack of compassion drove her to lose her sanity that she can only perform basic hero stuff yet when she's with aizawa she acts like that perhaps it must be a brainwashing quirk that let's get do that well this is just my theory
