I think Purple Onion has such cute stamps. I don't own any but boy would I love to have a bundle OR two. This card is so cute. What a great way to add snow. Very clever. Love the clear mounting stamp. That would be a huge help for me as I find it difficult to work with the red rubber stamps. Thank you for the inspiration.

Wonderful card! Loved watching the scene develop. And it made such a difference in the color of the car when you used the gambol - really made it a beautiful red. Thanks so much for sharing.

I love how you let the texture of the colored pencil show. Too many people are so worried about grinding that pigment in so hard to get a solid image. I love the texture. I mean if you don't want that texture then use another medium? Maybe? Lol. The texture is what drew me to the medium. And that's why I cally self a colored pencil artist. 😁 ❤️

I agree if you don’t like the texture use watercolor pencils. I love the texture.

Ah, fun. Adding the snow with pen, paint, etc is less than satisfactory for me because it picks up the color underneath. Erasing, though.....that could be the answer! Also, big oooohh!!! I thought once you start with gamsol, the whole piece needs to have it. I don’t really know why I thought that - big duh for me. I like the effect you achieved with gamsol in the foreground and none in the back. Learn something new every day. Thanks, Sandy.

I love how the car popped when you added the gamsol. Really brought it forward. Not a big colored pencil fan (like it with gamsol) but it really worked in this image. TFS

Another beautiful card, showing us a new technique to use for creating the snow. I have the battery operated eraser, and would have never thought to use it for creating snow. I also have the Tombow erasers, and would never have thought to erase color to make the snow on the background trees. I always learn so much from your video lessons. You are one very talented artist.

Thank you Sandy! 🌺 I guess I needed some Stacey Yacula stamps and pencils to get me inspired for Xmas cards! 😂 I got the eraser as a gift and absolutely love it! The sticky clingy pad is also a great addition for the Purple onion stamps, …

I am always fascinated watching you create regardless of the medium! I enjoy colored pencil/watercolor pencil art, even though I'm not very good at it. Lol, I'm either pleased or not pleased with my attempts but it's fun. I learned a little more about shading and how to make it look like snow. Thank you, Sandy!

Love the clear stamp... I've been using double sided tape to attach my old dismounted wood stamps. This is great. Thank you! Also, love the coloring. I'm so used to my Copics it's a real learning challenge for me to learn the pencil shading. 😉

What an awesome stamp to make an awesome card. I love this red car. Using an eraser to create snow is genius. I have the second eraser you used, the skinny one. I use it when I accidentally color outside the lines. I’ll have to experiment with it for other uses. Always learn something from you Sandy. I can’t believe how sharp you get your pencils. Still using the electric BIG one? I love your train car too.
