He’s so humble in victory and just as gracious in defeat. He might be leaving his head coach role but my takeaway from this World Cup (other than Japan) is this team led by this man. I can’t even be mad that we got knocked out the RWC. South Africa wanted it more and seeing how much it means to their nation, deserve it more. Much respects to Rassie and co. Innovator, Game-changer and firm believer that the boks are 'STRONGER TOGETHER'...you never hear quota-players label on the black players in the team since he started coaching because Rassie picked them based on form and potential and not colour of skin (just to make the number) and so the black players felt they belonged and performed to the best of their abilities!.....Never bothered with trash talks in build-up to games, always praising the opposition regardless of game outcome, always respectful during interviews....and here, not prideful to admit that they want to be as consistent as the ABs, a very humble coach!....As a kid, had watched him on TV playing for the boks when he was still in his prime, so glad to see him now still in his prime but as a world-cup winning coach on his first attempt!!

Without being nasty…but let’s be honest, England has a tendency to hype their players so much they end up scaring them from reaching their full potential because they will play with massive nerves. I do watch rugby by football is my first love, I don’t think it’s by choice but rather by circumstances because I grew up in the time when there was zero exposure to rugby and remember that time one could not even see the springboks in action as SA was banned from international sport; so I’ll bring football players in as examples….Theo Walcott was taken to the World Cup at 17 and was a squad member even though he had a broken leg! Someone convinced the English that he was the next Pele, so he was labelled the ‘up and coming next best Thing in football’! Well, he’s about to retire and he’s still up and coming, just not in the direction everyone hoped for! Oxlaide-Chamberlain had the same hype, Peter Crouch, the lanky clumsiest man to ever play football was tipped to be the top goal scorer at one of the World Cup tournaments but he obviously was found wanting when needed because they were not playing the likes of Estonia and Montenegro at the World Cup like they were in the build up when they said all those things about him! With Roberto Carlos of Brazil still active and playing for Brazil they once declared Joe Cole the best left back in the World! The likes of Sterling got the same hype…and the list is endless!!!
