Chanced upon your videos and it brought back so many memories! I stayed at Hatta back in 2015 when I was on exchange as well and the dorm pretty much looked the same except for the splash of orange on the wall! Thanks for filming these videos, it really brought back so many fond memories of student exchange life in erasmus. Hope it was an amazing time for you as well!

Are all the rooms' locations comfortable or there are some that have not no? I mean landscape or noise environment

Hatta is pretty close to the edge of the university campus so you might be able to hear car, road noises but it's not very bad. I think the noisiest thing might be the Hatta bar nights when a lot of students go and if you live on the lower floors! (Or if your floor has many parties..)

hey! :) I don't think the mattress was very hard, it felt just right, but I don't have existing back issues so not sure what you need exactly. if you need a firmer mattress you can consider buying an extra mattress topper!

Hi Shukman, thanks so much :) To know when's the best time you need to check through the Erasmus University website itself because it'll be updated for the correct dates for your term. There should be a page specifically for student housing if you Google or look around abit on the Erasmus website. Of course registering it closest to the day and time stated there is the safest way to secure a room. Best of luck!

hey Emily! thanks for your comment! Hope you have the best stay in Hatta :) I don't remember the exact size..but I'm in the 3-room suite. I think it states the room size when you first apply in the SSH portal though!

hey :) I'm back home already! The existing furniture that comes w the room just stays there (bed, wardrobe, table etc.). The rest you do have to strip and either give it away or sell it off. I sold or donated most of my items via Facebook so best to plan a few weeks in advance and make sure you can dispose your things properly!

LOL I had several friends stay over over the course of a few months and no one cares..as long as your RA is chill and you're not too rowdy about it. Make sure you have an air mattress or borrow one!
