America was not quite sure what to do with "Chorus", the debut single from Erasure's album of the same name. It was first released as "Chorus (Fishes In The Sea)", then re-promoted as "Chorus (Covered Up The Sun)", perhaps because those lyrics were more prominent in the song than the first subtitle. It was never a HUGE radio hit, but the American label DID commission additional mixes for a club edition of the promos. Erasure always did seem to have more success in the American clubs than on the radio, after all. Those mixes included variants my Tommy Musto, Ben Grosse, and a set of house mixes that sound like Justin Strauss might have had a hand in them. Sadly, those mixes were not released, but have been floating around the internet practically since there WAS an internet. Except for ONE. That was the Ben Grosse "Low End Single Mix", included on a rare promo only CD single. It was recently given its official, commercial debut as a bonus track on the expanded, remastered version of the album. An instrumental version of this same track (not on the CD) was produced however for that unissued club promo, and I used those two versions to create this extended mix.
