What impresses me most about these videos is the quality of the picture. Most videos from the 80's are not that great. Looks like it could have been filmed yesterday.

The reason is most videos were ripped from poor consumer equipment sources as typically VHS-Video-Cassettes. The source from the TopPop-Videos are the original professional tapes made in the studio of the broadcaster and then also obviously digitalised with an excellent ripper. Really well done AVROTROS!
