I have to admit Erbauer is s nice bit of kit which doesnt cost an arm and leg. I have the recip saw impact driver and combi drill. Will continue buying more of this brand

Great to hear, this brand has really caught my eye because of its cost. I have Milwaukee gea (Circular saw planer impact and Combi, all with 4 5.0amh batteries), but I'd like to give the Erbauer battery system a go because I need mini grinders, jigsaws and the whole lot in time to come; so recently I got an impact and Combi with two 5.0amh batteries for €130. Next I'll get the SDS with two 5.0amh batteries for €150, then I'll get bare unit tools, that's the plan

Great review. I recently bought the cordless drill and impact driver so I have 2x 4Ah batteries. Great piece of kit. Looking at the circular saw now. Just a shame the bare units don't come with the plastics case.

I've owned a makiita combi drill for about 18 months the chuck has broken its not had alot of hard use I've now replaced with an Erbauer combi drill and I think the Erbauer is much better tool

Worx tools use the same batteries not that I've got any but I think they fit JCB tools as well

Combi drill with 2x 5ah batts are fab . 4 inch grinder quite good but eats batteries, circular saw a little underpowered compared to dewalt.

@@docsworld9707 just tried the sds , probably ok for sds drilling or some light rendering or tiles but lacks the balls to really tear up hard floor tiles, at least easily.

I don't suppose anyone knows if the Dewalt batteries fit this? My most used tools are Dewalt, and I've got a handful of batteries. My mains powered tools are erbauer, so I'm between the Erbauer corded and (but only if the Dewalt batteries fit) this cordless.

No the batterys are not interchangeable as I use dewalt also

@@docsworld9707 Thanks for the reply. Thats a shame. I won't be using the jigsaw very often so didn't want to spend 2x the money on a dewalt cordless for it to mostly just sit on the shelf. I'll probably just go for the mains Erbauer one, I'll be doing 99% of my work in the workshop, a cordless one would be a nice to have rather than a necessity.Cheers

I note you had some issues with the base plate slipping off angle at the beginning. How did you rectify this please? I have the same model and find that the lock jumps off when the unit is pushed slightly, which is easily done when cutting.

I tightened up the thumb svrew with a screwdriver seems to have sorted it

Managed to get the vacuum pipe out. Removing the battery provides a little more room to allow for the extra force to remove it. Looks the posi screw allows for height adjustment and the allen key screw controls tightness of lever?

I've not owned a Bosch dewslt or nikita cordless sds so cant give an informed answer. The erbauer I have had for over 10 months and so far not a single problem it's running as gd as it was on day one.

I've had dewalt and although this stuff does not feel as sturdy, none of it has let me down yet, I've gone ba!!s deep and have the jigsaw, multi tool, combi drill and impact driver. Im really impressed for the price.....I think if I had to rely on it professionally it may be a different matter

Very interesting that, if I can remember skil was average, and the price was, well, cheap enough, if they have rebranded as erbauer, they certainly rebranded their prices, a lot higher I would say,!

Does the blade stay straight in it? I had a corded one and it was at a small angle, I always had to rotate the jigsaw slightly to the right in order to cut straight. I went back to the place where I bought it and the new one (sealed box) had the same blade angle issue.

Yes it cut fairly straight out of the box. A good blade helps things
