At the criminal attack on Iraq 2003 by the US, Erdogan wanted the US Troops to go through Turkiye to attack Iraq from the North. The turkish parliament didn't allow that at last. In Libya Erdogan participated and helped atack Gaddafi, who has helped Turkiye in the Cyprus conflict. Everyone knows that Azerbaijan exports Oil to Israel through Turkiye, why don't he stop that although there is genocide going on in Gaza? In Syria he helped to destroy another muslim country just with the help of jihadists which are fans of sharia. This things are in the interest of the US and Israel. Humanitarian aid to those countries affected by conflict , violence and hunger, caused by western imperialism , could have been mentioned. Establishing clean drinking water, building hospitals and free healthcare, supporting locals to start businesses and farming, only few I could count. Also building schools and taking thousands of students to Turkiye. These people finish their education and return to their home countries and serve their country. More and more and more. WHY? Just because we still love and respect others, doesn’t matter who they are. Visit Turkiye and you’ll understand.

As a Syrian Arab Muslim, I'm rooting for unity to be achieved. Türkiye is the only viable Muslim country to pursue this currently, so I support them. But I still have my reservations about the nationalist/Kemalist/secular factions in Türkiye. May Allah grant Turkish Muslims victory over them. Also the Kurdish issue. Under Ottoman rule, they could speak their own language, retain their culture etc., what's happening currently is oppression towards them, and only strengthens the nationalist factions among them over the pan Islamic ones, effectively hindering Muslim unity. Syria development is VEEEERY good new though.

Secular Turkish people don't care about Syria or dont share their pains while Erdogan's supporters and true Muslims share everything with Syrian brothers. @cotyoran0652 no need to apologize brother, enemies of Islam exist among us in every Muslim country, may Allah guide them or humiliate and grant control to our Muslim brothers and sisters in all our countries. Reflection of Turkey's Current Foreign Policy on Domestic Politics - Summary The regional policies of the Republic of Turkey are fundamentally aimed at maintaining the country’s influence and security, regardless of which government or leader is in power. These policies include ensuring NATO’s functionality, maintaining balanced relations with Russia, acting as a mediator to promote regional stability, and safeguarding Turkey’s regional influence. Neo-Ottomanist rhetoric, on the other hand, is often used as a tool to support domestic political interests, particularly to influence public opinion. In this context, the Erdoğan government also pursues such rhetoric, but these policies are largely aimed at domestic audiences. Turkey’s regional priorities, given historical and geopolitical conditions, are more focused on Central Asia and the Balkans rather than the Middle East. For instance, issues such as the dispute over the 12 Islands in the Aegean Sea and international legal disagreements have accelerated strategies like the Mavi Vatan (Blue Homeland) project in coordination with Libya and Syria. Turkey pursues a robust strategic policy to protect its energy resources in the Eastern Mediterranean and assert its rights in the region. The maritime boundary agreement with Libya is an essential part of this strategy. Qatar plays a significant role in maintaining balance in the Middle East by providing military bases, while relations with Azerbaijan are based primarily on shared ethnic and historical ties rather than any pragmatic political or economic interests. This bond is much deeper and more advanced than the relationships between the Scandinavian countries or the Anglo-Saxon brotherhood. The "one nation, two states" understanding between Turkey and Azerbaijan illustrates the historical and cultural roots of their partnership. In the Balkans, Turkey exerts significant soft power through its historical and cultural ties. The policies in this region are often supported by economic cooperation, cultural diplomacy, and infrastructure projects. In Central Asia, Turkey strengthens regional bonds and deepens strategic partnerships through organizations like the Turkish Council (formerly the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency). The issue of competition with Iran is a key aspect of Turkey's foreign policy. This rivalry extends beyond the regional power balance and includes concerns about Shia expansionism and the threat posed by Iran’s proxy actors in the region. Turkey’s efforts to maintain its leadership role in the Sunni Muslim world are a significant dimension of this competition. Iran’s proxy actors and its influence beyond borders are perceived as direct threats to both Turkey’s security and its regional influence. In conclusion, Turkey’s foreign policy encompasses a wide range of objectives, such as maintaining regional security, access to energy corridors and trade routes, NATO alliances, balanced relationships with Russia and other regional powers, reinforcing historical ties, and expanding economic cooperation. These policies aim to protect the country’s long-term interests while occasionally being supported by different rhetorical approaches that align with domestic political needs. I am not a supporter of Erdoğan. I do not support the opposition or any other side. As an innovative Atatürk youth, this is the realistic Turkish political thesis. Neo-Ottomanist ideas, no matter who comes into power, will not be allowed. First and foremost, the Turkish Armed Forces, as the guardians of Kemalism, have the dynamic capacity to quietly steer situations when necessary. The Turkish state and nation are based on the principle of “army-nation.” This is the greatest asset history has given us. Bülent Ecevit once said, "If the Greeks look at international issues realistically, they should not fall into a sense of defeat. Unfortunately, however, they do not view these matters from a realistic and contemporary perspective. Recently, they have been trying to keep the memories of Byzantine history alive. No nation that places importance on dreams of past historical victories can find peace in today’s world. If Turkey, with its imperial history from a much more recent period, harbored similar dreams of annexing its old territories, where would Turkey be today? Let’s think about England… If the Greeks become aware of the necessities of the present age we all live in, they can abandon these dreams and achieve a realistic understanding of peace." Additionally, Atatürk also sent this message to the state regarding Turkey’s policy toward Greece: "The Balkan Pact, signed under Atatürk’s leadership in 1934, is a result of this peace understanding. Atatürk emphasized the necessity of focusing on the future, stating, 'It is important to develop friendly relations with our neighbors, especially with Greece, so that both countries can progress in peace and prosperity,' highlighting the need to move beyond the past and concentrate on the future."
