They couldn't have put the music used here in the anime, because this music was for the Chronicle version and not for the anime. They used the anime version of that ost which is ApeTitan,his theme so the music in the original was fitting as well

Well, it was a servicable adaptation. nothing more nothing less. My biggest problem is how bland the music is, and how scenes seem to bleed into each other instead of being a series of big moments that captures the paneling of the manga. That's my biggest issue with the new director.
