@@hillaryseria8936 i suggest u read finish the manga, but if u havent and still wanna know (even know its a spoiler): eren wanted them to hate him cos he's planning on becoming the "villain" that takes revenge on everyone apart from their island (by causing the rumbling). idk if its canon or not but some people theorised eren already knew the future outcome, and that he would be stopped and killed by his friends, which is why for their last interaction he wanted them to have another motive to kill him by acting like a bitch and make them hate him. or after they finally kill him, they won't feel sad or guilty cos he turned into a villain who attacked his own friend armin and shit. others say it wasn't actually eren's will, but ymir (the girl who got the first titan power) who gave him the founder titan power and agreed to destroy everyone else, and that despite knowing he himself will die he couldn't prevent or stop it from happening cos it was already inevitable. he saw the future happening again and again, and had no choice but to follow it through ymir's help.
