As a Greek panathinaikos I'm just happy to see the game of basketball grow. It was a pleasure watching this interview and I'm for sure glad we have Atamman as a coach here. Best of luck to Shane and Turkey's national team in the future 💚💚💚

I think one of the funniest moments of Ataman was in the Euroleague final when ref reminded him that he has one more timeout and Ataman responded as “yeah yeah I’ll take it next year”. Indeed he was again in the final next year 😂

Muhteşem bir koç, muhteşem bir insan. Başarılı olmanın ötesinde basketbolun her seviyesinde görev yapmış, katkıda bulunmuş, saygı duyulan bir insan. Birçok kişiye ilham kaynağı olabilecek bir noktada Ergin Ataman. Keyifle seyrettim. Harika program olmuş. Excellent coach, excellent person. He contributed and served every level at game of basketball beyond being successful. He is well respected. I think he can be an inspiration to many people. I watched this podcast with so much joy. @@utkanGNeden yesinki.

It is an incredible program, its authenticity and honesty make it stand out. Hearing guests share their life stories so openly leaves a lasting impact on the audience. Inviting a legendary figure like Murat Murathanoğlu to the show would be fantastic aswell. Having him talk about the evolution and growth of Turkish basketball from the 90s to the present would captivate every basketball fan. And We’re also incredibly proud that Shane Larkin will play for the national team. Foreign players like Shane who genuinely feel like one of us and connect with us are always valuable for the national team. ❤

Honestly I watched every single game of Panathinaikos last year as Galatasaray fan just because of you. I was so happy when we managed to win Euroleague title. Every weekend , i still watch the final game and the press conference where sloukas kissed you from your head again and again. I feel like we won the title together. I have a feeling that we won’t be back to back champion this year because of Turkish players who don’t have team chemistry

Ataman did not go into details but how he ended up at his first headcoaching job at Telekom, when he 30 years old, is really interesting, and foretelling. He first went to Ulker and asked for the HC job. They said "who are you??" and hired someone experienced. Then Ataman beat them in the semis to reach the finals for the first time in Telekom history.
