Ergobaby Omni Breeze VS Omni 360 Cool Mesh

Hi i would like to ask, which one is better between omni breeze and omni 360 cool airmesh for 10 month baby? Because i see that the leg padding in omni breeze is larger than 360? Is it comfortable??

There's not a significant difference between the two. the Breeze is a little softer material so I'd say it would be slightly more comfortable. But not in a significant way. Can I ask if you'd be planning to use it with a newborn in the future? Because a lot of the benefit of the Ergobaby omni breeze or 360 is the from birth functionality. I'd personally look at a LILLEbaby Airflow / LILLEbaby Elevate or maybe a Tula carrier for a 10 month old.

I'm in the same boat as this commentor. I don't necessarily need the newborn feature because I have the ergo embrace and a few wraps, all of which I love. Looking for an upgrade for my 10 month baby to use for awhile. Would you still suggest the lillebaby or tula over ergobaby? I was seriously considering getting the breeze as my little guy runs hot!

I would still be inclined to suggest looking at those other options to compare. Especially LILLEbaby Elevate has quite a big panel to fit a bigger toddler comfortably for longer (2-3+ years) Though the LILLEbaby Elevate isn't a mesh carrier, it's linen, so lightweight and breathable but in a different way to the Ergobaby Breeze/LILLEbaby Airflow with the polyester mesh. Are you in Australia? I can see if I can suggest any retailers that might stock both the Ergobaby Breeze and LILLEbaby carriers to compare side by side.

I use the cool air mesh for my 10 month old and still put my 3 year old in it. I am going to get a second one for my husband so we can carry our 2 littlest kids at the same time. I am a mom of 6 and no longer use strollers. I was going to buy the breeze because I live in hot southern Texas with humidity, but I am seeing people say they suggest other carriers for older kids. I have no problems at all carrying my older kids in the cool air mesh... So I am believing the fabric change of the breeze may not be as strong and supportive for older babies and toddlers. I love Ergo entirely and have hiked icy mountains in Alaska with babies on my back. I have thrown away or donated at least 4 other brands. I am not brand biased though - my husband and my oldest son enjoy carrying babies but they would always take mine. Anyway, I hope this comment helps someone! The one thing I am jealous of is the buckle change at the parent's shoulders! What a smart design!

I love Ergobaby too. I had an original Ergobaby Sport back in 2009ish and I would say my kids spent more time in that carrier than they did in their cot/crib (because neither of them were good at sleeping and always wanted to be held 😆) I used the original up until 3.5years with two kids and then passed it on to a friend. My feeling is that Ergobaby has done well with making one of the best structured carriers for newborns. And THE best carrier for forward facing. But the sacrifice along the way in my opinion is the size of the panel for bigger toddlers (also I had chonky toddlers so that's going to influence my opinion as well) But you definitely can carry 2-3+ in the Omni 360 or Omni Breeze, but I think if you're buying it for a 1 year old you're missing out on its best features.

Hi Joy, the Ergobaby Omni Breeze/Omni 360 don't require an infant insert for a newborn. Only the original style Ergobaby carriers. Let me know if you have any questions! - Rachel

Hi Kate, while I haven't tested it myself, I don't see why it wouldn't work. It would attach to to same buttons on the Omni Breeze as the Ergobaby 360, so I imagine it should be fine. - Rachel
