I have this chair and I am 5’7 and have had it for a few weeks and it’s great for me, very comfortable and can sit for a long time with no back or hip pain. And I have a bad shoulder blade that sticks out and most chairs are uncomfortable because it will push into the back of the chair but the mesh makes me not feel it

Thanks for this review. After spending over an hour inside Office Depot I just ordered a similar chair and awaiting its arrival. I refuse to keep office chairs that are uncomfortable. So far I have bought two and returned them both. My 11 yr old daughter puts them together and she helped me take them apart. I was able to fit all the parts back in the box each time and took them back for a refund.

Thanks for your honest and in-depth review. I’ve been looking for an ergonomic chair so this has been really helpful.
@cashreedhar4 жыл бұрын
I bought this chair too. There is good and bad. This is ergonomic chair and it helps you with good posture while sitting long time. If you're getting the back pinch, you're not sitting properly. You need to sit further back, so that your back curves forward with the help of lumbar. If you're sitting towards the middle of the chair, bending your posture forward it pinchs and also creates bad body posture. There is a potential downside with this chair. Behind the lumbar, there is curved metal piece that is an inch away, when you sit on this chair right way and apply pressure on lumbar. Over the time, when mesh loosens up, that metal piece poke your back (i read some complaining on chairs with similar design after 2 months use)
@cashreedhar4 жыл бұрын
@@IBKade hey I hear you. I actually didn't give much thought on what you said and I was in the illusion of its smooth appeal. I realized, when chair is reclined the edges around the lumbar and back panel hurt the back. I didn't realize earlier as the mesh support hides that pain, but ended up with really back pain next day. It is horrible. I'm sending this chair back and ordered pursuit chair by uplift desk. The lumbar although it looks good on chair, when seated it goes back with back and hence I didn't really feel any real lumbar support when compared to my McKenzie lumbar support. Big thanks to your video!
@jason2009122 жыл бұрын
2 months durability is pretty bad for such an expensive chair that you can only get new. Steelcase leap v2 for the win. They should stop using mesh if it over-suspends after two months and just use car seat quality foam.

This chair is the NOUHAUS Ergo3D. Thanks for your review. I disagree with your notion all 'nest' type chairs are similar enough that you didn't need to provide the brand name. The under $200 ones tend to have lower quality mesh that stretches out over time. Nouhaus provides a 5-YEAR WARRANTY which you're not going to find in most nest chairs I wish you would have sat in the chair to demonstrate the back pinching you're describing 🤷🏾♂️

He has right. Ergohuman V1 $600. Same story. That lumbar support is in the wrong position and I can't do real setup, just 6cm up down. You better listen to these no sponsored videos. It may be full of useless settings and fails in the most important area. Bad designer. It is just a trash design with much advertising at half of the price of an Aeron.

That doesn't look like a Nouhaus Ergo3d. Well it does but its also very different. Nouhaus Ergo3ds' headrest is hand adjustable no screwdrivers needed. Also the wheels are completely different Nouhaus Ergo3d has single extra large rollerblade wheels on each spoke. The Nouhaus Ergo3d also has aluminum accents all over the chair and the bottom is made entirely out of aluminum. The spokes going to the wheel are also not curved. They are very straight spokes with sharp angles. This looks like the Ergoal One chair. I dont know this brand but, it seems like a knock-off of the Nouhaus Ergo3d. I am not sure if IBKade knows this or not but his amazon link is for the Nouhaus Ergo3d. This product is a completely different chair than the Nouhaus Ergo3d. IM IN THE MIDDLE OF WATCHING THIS RIGHT NOW AND FOR ME, ITS HARD FOR ME TO GET THE EXACT CHAIR I WANT BECAUSE I WANT IT FOR MY PIANO. I NEED A CHAIR WHICH IS TALL LIKE AN OFFICE CHAIR, IT CAN HAVE LEGS OR WHEELS BUT I WOULD PREFER IT WITHOUT WHEELS BECAUSE I FIND OFFICE CHAIRS WITH WHEELS EVENTUALLY COLLAPSE AND THE CHAIR ENDS UP TOO LOW IN THE END. I NEED A VINYL OR LEATHER CHAIR BECAUSE I HAVE A BLADDER PROBLEM AND I DONT WANT A CHAIR WITH ARMS UNLESS THE ARMS CAN BE PUSHED OUT OF THE WAY, EITHER BACKWARDS OR RIGHT OUT TO THE SIDES AWAY FROM THE CHAIR. I ALSO LIKE THE CHAIR TO BE REASONABLY WIDE SINCE I HAVE A LARGE BOTTOM. THAT PART I CAN SEE SIDE ON, THAT WOULD BE PERFECT FOR ME HOW IT COMES FORWARD WHICH WOULD KEEP THE SITTER COMING FORWARD A FAIR BIT. WHEN YOU PLAY THE PIANO YOU REALLY NEED TO BE SITTING FORWARDS A BIT. I HAVE A HIATUS HERNIA AND BACK TROUBLE SO I NEED TO BE KEPT FORWARD TO SOME EXTENT. RIGHT NOW, WITH MY OLDER OFFICE CHAIRS I HAVE TO PUT A PILLOW BEHIND ME TO KEEP ME FORWARD A BIT. OLD AGE IS THE PITS. I LL GO BACK TO WATCHING YOUR VIDEO NOW, THANKS.

I do not believe this is the NOUHAUS Ergo3D. The Ergo3D has rollerblade style wheels and the chair in the video does not.
@headshrink13 жыл бұрын
No it’s not the Nouhaus Ergo3D but somewhat a copy. Nouhaus gives good advice to size dimension. I understand where he is coming from and he is basically saying “try before you buy.” It maybe hard to do since there maybe small retailers that carry it. He would have done better with a straight back. My problem with the straight back ones is the tailbone pain. This lumbar support helps good posture and reduces tail bone pain. To get a better a chair than this it would cost between $600-1200. I’m not going there yet.
