There's a Key and Peele sketch just like this where they crash the Confederate side of a Civil War reenactment and act like humble, obedient slaves until they provoke the actors enough to say the n-word at which point the two have an excuse to rob their camp at gunpoint.

@@ThePurpleMushroom umm sitting down and thinking/coming up with a "skit" is an idea. Also making a script, finding actor's, rehearsing the skit, getting costumes and having everyone meet somewhere to record the skit is reality. It's all planned just like Eric's ideas and all happened, except key and Peele put much more thought, work, effort into what they do and have more talent. Also only difference from the key and Peele skit and Eric's is that Eric does his play or idea in front of people who aren't aware it's a joke or for a show. And in this video Eric and his actors didn't even really talk or interact with the bystanders. They just ran around and chased each other to put on a show for the video.

People like you have a romanticised view of precolonial africa, when in reality the vast majority of the African slave trade throughout history was IN Africa.

@@jasonmaguire7552 At the same time, Africa is an entire continent, not a country. 99% of African slaves came from West Africa, a region of the continent that had a ton of tribal warfare and instead of death, tribes that lost were assimilated into the winning tribes and kept as indentured servants. Now, where these slaves in Africa treated as harshly as they were in the States/colonies? Not nearly as badly, no. Maybe just stay away from overgeneralizing things you don't understant.

Slaves in the US were more well nourished than the average free white worker and had a higher literacy rate than most people around the world. Your understanding of slavery sounds like it's almost certainly based on inaccurate Hollywood movies where every slave is whipped daily and other nonsense. And those west africans were the ones selling those slaves to Arabia and the Americas. And I like how youre defending slavery and tribal warfare as perfectly okay as long as its black people doing it.

Eric Andre is like the version of comedian that all the comedians would really like to be like, but know the respect from non comedians isn't the same. Eric Andre low-key might be one of the most brilliant comedians of all time.
