I'm almost 37 I haven't paid much attention to Eric Bischoff since I was a kid when WCW was huge. It's so weird seeing him as an old guy now l!

Idk what makes this but wrestling industry guys are the best story tellers of all the sport guys
@DeadMorozzz-hz4lhАй бұрын
It's really obvious what makes this, there is no other sport (if we call it a sport) that has storytelling as one of its main components to a degree pro wrestling does

Honestly, I haven't watched wrestling for about 20 years (definitely loved WCW in the Sting days, though!), but I always much prefer listening to guys like Eric than literally any current UFC/MMA fighter, because I always learn something. I love the old stories and learning how/why successful people made the moves they made, and how many of their successes came from just taking a chance on yourself and asking for an opportunity. Guys from previous generations went and made things happen. They didn't just expect opportunities to fall into their lap and think the world 'owed' them something just because they have a talent or a university degree. Great interview, fellas. I appreciate the work!

Rampage grew up in Memphis. Jarrett and Lawler country, man. He'd be young enough to remember Jim Cornette when Corny was in WCW plus Corny ran SMW in Knoxville, TN. Easy E is a great guest. At sime point how about getting Paul Heyman though since we're looking at backstage guys who were either authority figures or managers on screen.

Bischoff is so spot on with the MMA promotions needing to do a better job telling the fighters' story.
@HIMDUNCANBEENDUNKINАй бұрын
Yea the fighters need to do their part with their social media accounts etc But at the same time, I agree! It only makes sense, that the organization would do the best they can to promote and tell each fighters story, so that it can snowball the push, of more people knowing the fighter, resulting in more tickets sold.
