What fascinates me about this crime is the fact that after getting $4.3 million they didn’t cover their tracks by giving the Satterfield sons the $500000 they thought they would get. The greed is breath taking!

Part of the problem is that it's so difficult for plaintiffs to get the information on their own cases. Sure my lawyer says he won $41 million on my case, but when only he pays me $9,000 there's nothing I can do to find out if I was entitled to more... nothing. This isn't just a low country thing guys, my former lawyer Girardi did the same to us here in California,only without the family annihilation.

I had a case that I reported a web page doing illegal things to the California Bar association. They took this case seriously and it affected me directly. It took 7 months to investigate from their part and finally they told me I was right and they shoot down that web page. People can also make a difference reporting abuse. Thanks for your job we as regular citizens appreciate your efforts of accountability.

Aww that's so sweet. Wish I had had that experience when I repeatedly contacted the bar about my attorney withholding $41 million in settlement funds for several years and giving no plausible explanation for the measly settlements we were finally given. The California Bar needs to prove they've removed every person who covered my lawyer's fraud for twenty years. Web pages about him quickly erased my every comment or rating...they're easy.

And, I thought that same thing immediately, I bet this kind of stealing from clients goes on a lot bc clients aren't educated, don't dig, are afraid and don't follow the money to the penny. I definitely feel in Eric's case, coming from nothing makes him so much more full of integrity. Also, consider if Alex is found guilty of murdering Gloria Satterfield, that makes him a serial killer. I don't hear anyone talking about that! Does anyone think Ronnie Richter is Kevin Nealon's (SNL) doppelganger?

@timchilders3535
@timchilders3535 Жыл бұрын
I kinda get the impression, that lots of voters, would simply see Harpootlian in a pretty negative light, simply for attempting to defend Alex. His charges are staggering, and it's taking some major, and very sketchy shenanigans to defend the practically indefensible. All individuals are entitled to a defense in the US justice system, but some are very awkward, at best, to effect a defense for. Dick Harpootlian has had a long, successful career, and it's not like he's in his early career, nor in his prime....he's definitely nearing the twilight of his career. It's not like he has his entire career at risk of being poisoned from exposure representing Alex Murdaugh.

@@Ieezeca Absolutely, same here. I've said in several posts over the months, that it's not a projection of whether I feel like Alex is guilty or innocent, when I talk about how talented and masterful Harpootlian is in the courtroom. He's been in over 100 murder trials, on both sides of the tables. Lots of folks don't like lawyers by definition, but I do admire how sharp and skilled Dick is at his craft. He can play mental gymnastics with the best of them, and as I've also already mentioned, underestimate Harpootlian and Griffin, and you're a fool. Thank you for your reply🙂👍

Does getting ones case in front of “the right judge” make one a good lawyer ?????? If you watch the recent conversation Senator DH had with the Senate regarding whether legislators should appoint Judges in South Carolina vs an election process, DH slipped (if you listen) about a large case he had in Texas. DH himself stated he felt they were losing the case until the presiding Judge left and another took his place. DH was tickled to let everyone know that, THAT judge was a “friend” of theirs and the case then took a turn in their favor. This does not make one an excellent lawyer. Senator DH has no moral compass and has no qualms about “winning” a case with whatever it takes. It’s not difficult to run the schoolyard when you’re proud to be the bully. There is nothing wrong with the system ! What is wrong, are the lawyers such as DH who participate in unsavory conduct and prostitute the system. How do decent, moral, upstanding lawyers go up against these type of lawyers? Fight fire with fire? Ergo what we are facing in our Legislative, Judicial and Executive branches of government today. It’s a cancer. Maybe I’m naive, but if I worked as hard as lawyers and judges have to work, I’d want to walk away with the type of nationwide respect that Judge Newman, Attorney Waters and Attorney Tinsley walked away with. Who is John Galt ?

Throughout the United States birds with lawyers and judges it’s a big problem! It would be awesome if every state had lawyers that were ethical and self policing. But if they’re not going to ban somebody within the county and the state has to step up to the plate and shine the light on corruption. Both were small years and the justices. It is epidemic!
