I find the deck building with Eric kinda stressful, just the lack of considering many options. I mean, they seem happy so it's cool. But if it were me, for example after I put Whitton in a deck I wanna be "show me EVERY TOME AND RELIC". Or like Dream-Enhancing Serum is kinda janky for card draw here, and they don't even see staple options like Lab Assistant, Jeremiah Kirby, Feed the Mind or Preposterous Sketches. Or Tooth of Eztli for Whitton! Considering which of the three resources cards was great, I like how Justin's expertise allows Eric to think through which they find most appealing. For Minh, cards they didn't even look at include Inquiring Mind which is so helpful for King in Yellow. Dream Diary which is amazing with her and also supports Whitton (better than Occult, I reckon). Resourceful is really nice especially once the Sharp Visions go in. Written in the Stars was a great call in answer to deck manipulation. And if you hit Eureka or Perception with it then it turns into amazing card draw too. I dunno, not to be obnoxiously negative, I enjoyed the video. Just sitting here like "what about this card!!!"

It's best to just remember that people build differently, Eric doesn't care about seeing every option, they like the cool option or the cards they remember and want to build around while flipping through my collection.

You didn't ask but might be useful for some new arkham db-ers. You can actually shift-click on the factions/card-types when filtering to see all available options (eg. see all assets for seeker and survivor)

You can also change the options to "Class/Type Cumulative" and it does the same whether you shift-click or not!

I may have been yelling this to my screen when Justin said Familiar Spirit was the last creature and they'd only looked at the leveled version of guard dog.

It's weird. They both open up the creature list near the end too and it's right there and they just pass over it. I slowed down and rewatched the moment to try and figure what happens. I think Eric says "I don't have guard dog, and I don't have sled dog" and then they go on to talk about sled dog and the Justin runs off to (correctly, ofc) grab the cat telephone.

There was an unspoken communication that Eric and I had that you may have missed (I don't blame you, Eric and I have been friends for 23 years) that when it transitioned to a deck of minimal combat options, Guard Dog didn't fit. Devil still makes it because it's Eric's favourite card though.

Whats The point of playing dirty fighting in Winifred? You will up by a million in any test anyway the extra +2 make no difference and just traps you into evading enemies first which would be a wasted action in most cases. Especially in DE where you need to be able to fight multiple weaker enemies efficiently.

Works well with the .25 Automatic if I decide to go that route, I have a lot icons that are more foot focused so I can get value before shooting with the .25. Will I actually go down that route? That remains to be seen. Maybe if it's in the sideboard doesn't mean it's going to be in the deck. I upgrade thinking about how the deck plays through the campaign. We'll see if I need it or not in the gameplay, so maybe that's the point.
