Eric Burdon and the Animals - "When I Was Young", original mono 45

I bought this new in April 1967, at that small underground music record store in Greenwich Village, and played it to death (almost).
This record is worn so badly, I almost didn't post it, but after quite a bit of restoration work, I've gotten it good enough for posting. Check out my channel for other Eric Burdon tracks including Sky Pilot and Don't Bring Me Down.

BRRAAANNNGGGZZZZZZ :D is this different than the LP version? your set up is identical to mine.. I'm using the AT554sa currently for my youtube posts.. sounds similar to the 150, not as refined, a little louder. I love the 150mlx!! :D Peace..thannks for sharing..the 45 is actually in nice shape..no groove damage.un.like those Juke Box 45s that one occassionally finds.

This is the first song from my early years that spoke of rebellion, where I started to question things that anyone would at my age......Especially in the 60's. The Animals/ Eric Burden said as much as Dylan in those years....It's My Life.....We Gotta Get Out of This Place and House of the Rising Sun.....The big difference was they didn't write these songs.......But and it's a big but.....They made them they're own.
