Your wooden guitar won't always stay in shape and stay playable, your drum skins will eventually lose that crisp, sound, your bass will eventually become unplayable just like your guitar, and the voice is no exception.

Please listen to the Studio version of this song, if you haven't already. It truly is one of the most beautiful songs written in the past few years. This particular production/version does not do the song justice. Thats not a criticism, just an observation. Sometimes individual performances just don't turn out as well as others.
