Yeah, his blues period from '94 -97 Was his best so far,aggressive solos & brilliant vocals.I believe he'll get back there.

I was there - best encore tune he's ever done I think. Went to see him at MSG on 20th March this year and he's still the greatest. I love that after all these years he's still so shy and never happier than when he's letting someone else play and take the spotlight. It takes a great artist to do that. Love him more than words.

U all shoulda seen him with Ginger Baker & Jack Bruce. Few hours of terrific jammin, bouncing ideas off each other, and really gettin’ down. Iconic sessions ,never the same, lightening Ina bottle , electric landscapes visited but never to return. Had to be there. Captured well on Wheels of Fire for those who weren’t.
