When you are 6'7" tall, by default, your pinky finger is longer than most guys' middle finger. = insane guitar player. Telecaster looks like a ukulele on Greggy Weggy. Telecaster on me="who dropped the Titanic on the kid?" Moral: I can't approach any of these licks in this manner unless I have a Gibson scale or less. If Fender (or Wildwood-nudge nudge, wink) made a 22-23 inch scale guitar, I too could circle the globe dazzing and amazing folks mit der snarky turns of phrase doin' that thang with eloquent aplomb.

That lick not looks a lick of Eric Clapton. Eric usually plays the pickup of the neck or in the middle pickup, and a little slower.

Pickup or speed don't really have anything to do with the notes played :p It's just a clapton lick sped up and with a different tone then
