His first two songs in the set were covers of songs by The Band. He has long admired The Band and ALMOST asked if he could join back in the day; but it was also a nice, quiet way to pay tribute to the passing of Robby Robertson in August.

Yeah, this is a great one. Rick Danko's performance of it at The Last Waltz was epic. So glad that Eric decided to play this one, great melody, lyrics and chord progression, one of Robertson's best among many. Interesting that Andy Fairweather Low is on 2nd guitar rather than Doyle Bramhall II...any ideas why? Looking at the set list, it's basically the same one(couple three changes of course) he's played now for years and years.

Enjoyed the concert immensely, Jimmy Vaughn's band, great as always, appreciate the Robbie Robertson tribute by Eric and his great musicians, thought they could have done a few more songs, both Jimmy and Eric, noticed a lot of younger people at the concert, a little disappointed that Eric didn't introduce his band. They get a 5 star performance from me.

To all this song if it touches you would listen to Holy Mother, River of Tears, My Father's eyes. Get the tissues out . CHANGE THE WORLD. These songs and this one are like something was pulled from soul and written. This was a great concert and 3 weeks later I was front row again at Crossroads Festival best investment I have ever made. ❤Forever Fan ♥ Clapton Strong ❤
