it was a real surprise when he decided to go back to the bluesbreakers and yardbird days and pull out the old Explorer
@facugou4 жыл бұрын
He used a red telecaster in Yardbirds, and a Les Paul in Bluesbreakers.

@@facugou when did he use the Explorer
@dwaynewladyka5773 жыл бұрын
@@truckerkevthepaidtourist I believe that was when Eric Clapton was in Cream. In the Yardbirds, Eric Clapton used a Fender Telecaster, and a Gibson ES 335. In John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, Eric Clapton used a Gibson Les Paul. In Cream and in Blind Faith, Eric Clapton used various guitars. As a solo artist, Eric Clapton mainly used a Fender Stratocaster, but also used different acoustic and electric guitars.

@@dwaynewladyka577 yeah I thought that was it cuz I know that his original Korina explorer from 1958 that was the one he sold to the late Allen Collins of Lynyrd Skynyrd. he did back though in 68 with cream really favor his firebird for a while he was playing the heck out of that 66 model. that original comment was a year ago made off just to top of my head how can it remember all the axes played through the years.. I did remember the firebird though used a lot and cream cuz there's loads of pictures of that. and of course blackie, brownie.
