Clapton can still bring it. Also, it seems to me he has special energy with Steve.

I’m just amazed how awesome Steve Winwood’s voice still is even in his 70’s. His quality & soulful voice is truly a gift

Steve Winwood underrated by almost everyone, except for every other great rock musician who has ever played with him.

I first heard this guy in 1966. My ears couldn't believe it. I held the sleeve of their single in my hands and couldn't imagine who the singer was, as it was natural to me that he had to be black. I'm talking about the mid-sixties! By the end of the decade he had become the UK's most sought-after keyboardist. Even Hendrix went after him for his voodoo chile album. Not underrated but his musical choices were so beezar. A hell of a musician though!

All of these musicians have lasted 50 years or more and have classic songs that have lasted. None of today’s music acts can even play an instrument much less last 50 years. Today’s so called hit makers are disposable and forgotten after 5 minutes. Tossed out like yesterday’s fish wrapper. I’m so glad I lived in the Era of Real Musicians and songs. I weep for the future. I prefer to live in the Glorious past! Thank God they are still around and playing live!

Wonderful performance! One thing I like about Eric, he's happy to share the limelight. He gives his bandmembers a chance to express themselves. It's a beautiful trait. Thanks for sharing this special tribute.

Winwood and Clapton really should team up more often. Their guitar interplay is on the level of Stills and Young. All the mistakes of the Blind Faith misadventure are long gone and the 2009 joint concerts showed what a powerful combination they can be when they give each other the right amount of space. Clapton found his voice long ago and, while he'll never have Winwood's distinctive timbre - Marty Balin is the only other such distinctive male singer of that generation that could compare IMHO - he's more than confident these days to share a vocal lead with Winwood.

The misadventure was that they were too young to appreciate each other talents. Age brings maturity and humility

this is an old video, but music and lyrics by Steve Winwood I believe, he wrote most of what Blind Faith did while Eric was pre-occupied with Delany and Bonnie. too bad, they could have been great! Winwood is one of the greatest ever.
