Eric Delagrange - "Rachmaninoff: Aleko's Cavatina-Aleko"

Mr. Delagrange made his role debut as Balthazar in La Favorite at The Academy of Vocal Arts in 2020. In December of 2019, he made his debut with Heartbeat Opera in Louisa Proske and Chloe Treat’s production of Der Freischütz as Hermit. In October of 2019, Delagrange joined pianist Brent Funderburk in a Recital Series at The Hill Stead Museum in Farmington, Connecticut.
During the 2018-2019 season at The Academy of Vocal Arts, Delagrange sang Don Alfonso in Così fan tutte conducted by Christofer Macatsoris and directed by Dorothy Danner. He also performed Le Duc in Roméo et Juliette conducted by Stephen Mosteller and directed by Jeffrey Buchman, and Vodník in Rusalka conducted by Luke Housner and directed by Kevin McDowell. In the summer of 2019, Delagrange joined Russian Opera Workshop performing the roles of King René in Iolanta, and Thibaut d’Arc in The Maid of Orleans.
Delagrange is a 2nd prize winner of the Orpheus Vocal Competition (2021), Special Judges Award & Audience Choice Winner of the Giargiari Bel Canto Competition (2020), a recipient of the Cynthia Vernardakis Award Orpheus Vocal Competition (2018), Dr. & Mrs. Bob Robinson Award Shreveport Opera, Mary Jacobs Smith Competition (2017), 2nd Place, Kleinman Vocal Competition (2015), and a recipient of the American Opera Society of Chicago Award (2014).
Mr. Delagrange graduated from Mercyhurst University with his Bachelor of Music in Music Education, and DePaul University with his Master of Music in Opera Performance
