@xldsyt Жыл бұрын
@@raytylicki52-gh9nr You know it! Even those are getting hard to find. I am getting tech savvy though. The first spin loads them into my iTunes library and then on to my phone. I’m dang happy I worked with all those tech headed kids before retiring, they tried to “bring me up in the way I should go”!

Sounds Great Eric, (lovely 335 ), i use a 339, the bodywork is slightly smaller
@ericessix2 жыл бұрын
David I actually almost got a 339 myself last year after a friend told me they were great; but I found my dream 335 and got that instead. It's a cherry 1961 335 Reissue with the slim profile neck...plays like butter. The one I'm playing in this video is just a regular 335, 1998 model.
@david-ky7rt2 жыл бұрын
@@ericessix Thanks for the reply; was great to hear from you. The 335 is such a great playing guitar and sounds smooth It's a beautiful 335 that's for sure. I got my 339 in Cornwall UK, its cherry red colour, plays great, with smooth jazz sound. But the 335 is the ultimate smooth jazz guitar weapon, I just couldn't afford one at that time. Love your music Eric, fantastic guitar playing . ( David, UK ).

This groove is so smooth, it hit's me everywhere I need to be hit, it touches the soul. Giving this tune a thumbs down is blasphemy. This is a musical trifecta , blues, jazz, and soul. I lived in Hayward CA at one time, and I roomed with a girl whose mother on the weekend would play the blues on the record player and drink brown liquor. When the guitar in the blues song would get good to her she would say, don't be so mean, don't be so mean! I kind of understood it then, but listening to this cut, I really understand. I say to this guitar, don't be so mean, don't be so mean. My, my, my, ooooo weeee

Eric, I LOVE your CD. The Deep is one hell of a track! You had those guitars screaming! Funny, I’m NOT a fan of Gibson guitars; I’m a strat & Jazz Bass guy, but those guitars sounds so “emotional!” You definitely play a part in that! Love the album, and those videos! Hope you’ll come to Philly very soon! You’re the TRUTH!😌❤️🎶👍🏾

I am humbled my friend...thank you! For playing melodies and improvising, the Gibson's have the sound and feel for me...but I have a couple of very sweet Strats and a Getty Lee Jazz Bass in the arsenal too! (-;
@etpslick1003 жыл бұрын
@@ericessix Oh wow! That’s Cool. The Geddy Lee Jazz Bass sounds great. I played a sunburst one and was surprised by the tone. Very mellow sounding. I’m thinking about adding one to my collection. I have an 1985 Squier Strat and it sounded great for a inexpensive model. I did change the pickups (the noise and hum OMG!😣) and replaced them with EMG S and like night & day that strat screams. Keep making good music! 😌🎶❤️👍🏾

@@ericessix Yes, it reminds me of the times back in the early 2000s when my buddy Trent and his Irish band Hooley from Birmingham would come down to perform at the Summer Concert series at Gulf Shores...when staying in a beach condo, Trent would bring out his bagpipes and play 'Amazing Grace' on the beach at sunset...people all along the beach would crowd around for the shared moment, and people would applaud from their condo balconies! And then we'd drink mudslides until dark...LOL Fun times!
