Is it just me or is this piano out of tune

I think all of the notes are correct pitch. It's just how the old pianos sounded. I may be wrong tho.

@@take8316 yea ik he did play correctly it just sounded weird cuz the piano is really out of tune

Lol, you really think a competition of this caliber will let people perform on out of tune pianos? Even before smaller events, a technician usually tunes/checks the piano and often remains present - in case some quick fix is needed at intermission (at least, in Helsinki and Budapest I have seen them do that many times). He performs on an 180 years old piano which is built very differently from the modern counterparts. So the sound is also different. E.g. this Pleyel has much less string tension than modern pianos. In the bass register, this results in weaker sound (with more inharmony being audible in the undertones).
